::I had the car in park while I listened as Nicole explained how she was fine and would give more with the details when I got there. Once she was finished saying she was fine she told me to carry on straight.I put the car in drive and drove down a couple blocks and stopped at the red light and waited for it to go green::
"Okay well I am just a couple blocks from you know so it won't be long."
::The light turned green as I advanced on through and went down to the 5th block and looked around till I spotted Nicole standing out front of a tall building with an ugly paint job. I drove past her as I caught a glance of her look. Don't worry I know what I am doing. I pulled into a driveway of a building just down the street and turned the car around as I drove back to the building that Nicole was now standing infront of. I come up to the curb and put the car in park. Then slide over and open the door. Which is now on her side so she didn't have to walk around the car. See I told you I knew what I was doing::
"Hey Nicole!. So how did the disk cracking come up not to mention Spike being all non-corporeal and all."

“Ok, now you’re just showing off with your fancy driving skills.”
Getting into the car, I put my seatbelt on within the first 2 minutes of sitting. She was a Summers after all... I kinda wished I would have run into Cor while at AI HQ, guess she and the rest of the gang were all busy with the evil fighting....

Well nice to see she didn’t waste anytime getting down to business.
“None of the big brains of Angel Investigations were in. Actually, noone was in. Uh, and as far as Spike goes...a few weeks weeks ago, Angel got that creepy lookin amulet that Buffy gave to Spike during the fight with the first in the mail. It made with the glowing then it got windy-inside mind you-then poof! Instant Spike. Kind of like those stupid little sea monkey things. Just add water. Granted, there was no water involved,...but you catch what I mean.”
I managed to spit all that out without breathing. During this pause I finally inhaled once again.
“Now he’s a ghost, who haunts Angel Investigations. He cant touch anything..and he’s sort of see-throughable, but no less annoying...probably more so. All he can do is sit around till someone figures out how to make him a real boy again. Most likely that ‘someone’ will be Fred. She’s uber smart. You’ll like her....she’s about a 50 on a 1 to 10 scale of niceness .” I inhale once again. “So, enough about poltergeist Spike, how was your first day?”
I blink then smile.

::I laughed a bit as she said that. Hello I am in a viper, it's practically begging you to show off. But it was fun to. I mean after all I know what I am doing. I haven't had one accident and I don't intend to. This was at least one of the things Buffy still trusted me with. I passed my drivers test with flying colors and haven't had one ticket or accident. Sure I get into enough trouble and all but driving is one things that I won't risk Buffy taking power over of. I bought my own vehicle...well with some of the money that mom had left but it was still my responsibility.::

::Hmm. This Fred sounds pretty cool. I will have to meet her sometime. I pulled to a stop as the light turned to red again as I heard Nicole ask about how my first day was. I knew what she meant. It wasn't brain teaser of the year. It was obvious she meant School.::
"Well, turns out the principal is the same principal that Buffy had. But I got accepted anyway. I think I got accepted cause I had all my forms already filled out and Buffy thought she had forgot to bring them with her. So it was pretty good meeting wise anyway. I had to fill out a few forms when I got there and this girl Erin came in and was really quite rude so I left the office and she must have saw my name on the folder and came out and talked with me"
::The light turns to green and I focus back to the road and drive on through heading down the street to the corner and signaling to make a turn to the school::
"Then I went outside, and well I sat in a tree cause my face was bothering me. Then a little while later this girl. Her names Abby anyway we got to talking. She is a freshman by the way and a liar. She knew my last name and she said it was because of that fact that you were at the top of the social status and me being your best friend makes me up there to. But since you already mentioned the fact that your status kinda went when you did, I totally wasn't buying it. "

I dont think I’ve ever been through that many emotions in less than 5 minutes. I was sympathetic when she told me she sat in a tree...oh, and ‘cause of her face, but she was in a tree with that outfit....that poor shirt. Then I was happy she made a new friend, but that quickly turned to mild panic. It left possibility for me to be replaced! But once she called this Abby girl a liar I was relieved, and felt pretty secure with my ’best friend’ status. All the ‘security’ quickly vanished-- along with a tiny bit of pride as she mentioned my social status and it’s downward spiral.....
“Abby huh? Neat, you’ll have to introduce us sometime. Maybe you and I can play good cop, bad cop with her and make her fess up to the lying. Like on 21 Jump Street!”

::I drove down the street towards the school and it was soon in clear view as I drove up to a blue mailbox in which had a girl sitting ontop if it. I pulled to a stop as I was beside it and put the car in park and looked at Nicole::
"Well, here's your chance to meet her. Cause that's her sitting ontop of the mailbox. I told her I would be back with a surprise and well it was the car and now it's even better cause your here. But for now just don;t say anything about vampires, demons, me being a key, or Buffy being a slayer or anything other worldly. I told her I bought the whole you being popular thing. Which well it was true at one point. Sure she is a freshman but no one else seemed to hang out with her so I figured why not. Plus if the choices are hanging out with you and her, driving the Viper round LA. Or talking to Buffy I think I will take hanging with you and Abby."

What were we? Missionaries sent to do good for the less popular? This girl is lucky she met Dawn first...I probably wouldn’t have given her a minute of my time, but Dawn seems to find he intriguing...liar or not. So that puts her in the ‘worth my efforts’ category.
