WHO: Vito, OT anyone
WHEN: Monday afternoon
WHERE: Sid's Diner
The newly-installed windows had been covered with butchers' paper, and the workers had finished most of the interior. The walls, formerly covered with bad 70's paneling, were now painted off-white and hung with photos of the Meadowlands and the boardwalks at Atlantic City and Cape May. There was what may have been an authentic parkway exit sign for Cape May, Exit 9. There were also photos of New York City, vintage 1950's hubcaps and a big jukebox with colored lights and bubbles rising through tubes of colored water along the sides.
Vito grinned and looked around at the new place. He wondered if he should change the name of the place, but, evidently, Sid's had existed in Sunnydale for decades. Nobody seemed to know who the original Sid even was.
The door was unlocked, a "Help Wanted" sign hung out front. WIth any luck, he'd find a good manager to keep it running smoothly without too much intercession on his part.
