Who: Malone, Wolf, Gideon
Where:
The Stake House When: Wednesday evening
For quite a while, in all the excitement of the holidays, Malone had forgotten entirely about the strange boy he'd met at the music store and his offer to be part of a band. When he'd broached the subject to Wolf, he'd been less than enthused. Gideon's background check had come out much less than clean - and in fact, he wasn't really exactly a Gideon at all. But now that Malone had settled the idea in his head of being in a band, he wanted to at least check out the details. Maybe it would be a good band - and it wouldn't matter that Gideon-ish wasn't really who he was claiming to be.
Wolf had agreed to at least meet with the guy over dinner so that they could discuss the possibility. Malone's favorite place to eat, the Stake House, was also the perfect location for such a meeting to take place anyhow. Everything was working out in more or less positive fashions, so Malone was pleased. He walked in to the Stake House, and settled with Wolf in their favorite private booth, leaving the side across from them free for Gideon when he got there.
"I might like to be in the band," Malone said to Wolf while they waited. "I think I would like, anyhow, to try."
