Who: Willow and Oz
Where: The movie theater

Oz waited for Willow outside of the movie theater, leaning against the wall and watching his breath cloud up in fascination. He'd already bought their tickets, so it would suck if she stood him up, but she didn't strike him as the type. Way too sweet. Definitely.

Willow was incredibly nervous. She'd never been to the movies with a boy. Well, she'd been with Xander and Buffy, but that didn't count really, not when they'd been all cute and soppy, and she'd had to look the other way. This was entirely different. Walking up the the entrance to the theater she could see Oz waiting, and she felt her stomach lurch. He was actually here. She was amazed and terrified all at once. "Hey." She said, stopping next to him. "Waiting for someone?" She asked, a little tongue in cheek.

Hey," Oz replied, his usual blank expression slipping into a smile at the sight of her. "Yeah, a pretty redhead promised to meet me here."

Willow grinned a little, recognizing a compliment, but as usual not being very good at accepting one. "Well, I can wait with you until she shows up. Just so you don't look like you're all on your own."

"That's very cool of you," Oz said with a nod. "But I think you actually fit the bill." He held up the tickets, offering her one. "Movie?"

"Sounds like a plan." Willow said, taking the ticket. "So, what is it we're watching again? Nothing with scary monsters, right? Because real life is scary enough."

"Well, the options were sort of limited," Oz admitted. "It came down to the 'Pyscho' remake, or 'The Prince of Egypt.' I don't know about you but the Moses story with music and the voice of Val Kilmer? All kinds of intriguing."

"oooh, animation!" Willow said, kind of excited. "Plus music? Always a good combination."

"It's pretty hard to go wrong, yeah," Oz replied, pulling open the door for her.

"Kids films are great, they always manage to some how sneak in jokes that only older people will get, I like when they do that. Plus the tunes are so catchy." Willow said, walking through the door, liking the whole Oz being a chivalrous kinda guy thing.

Oz nodded and followed her into the theater. "Like Toy Story - some serious adult themes. Fear of abandonment. Deep stuff. You want some popcorn? Maybe some Chiclets?"

"Popcorn would be good." Willow answered. "Toy Story had many levels." She said, picking up on the previous comment. "Like Lion King, how Simba had to deal with loss at such a young age, that's pretty deep stuff."

Oz manuevered to the snack stand and ordered popcorn for the both of them. "Have you ever noticed how Disney characters don't seem to have parents? Or at least they never have the full set? I wonder what they're trying to tell us."

"I'd never noticed that..." Willow said, now trying to think of a film where there were both parents featured. "Okay, Bambi, his mom get's shot... Beauty and the Beast, there's only one parent.... Same with the Little Mermaid... Ohh! What about 101 Dalmatians? I think that's the only exception.”

"True, I hadn't thought of that one," Oz said. He handed her popcorn. "Trivia points to, Willow." When they had their snacks he turned to her. "Shall we?"

Willow took her popcorn, beaming a little at finding an exception to a rule. "Okay." She said, following Oz to the theater.
