Dot leaned wearily against her locker just before lunchtime. True to her word, she was going to talk to Prudence. She'd been keeping an eye out in her classes all morning, but hadn't seen her. Dot had made up her mind to find Lizzie, because she had information to share with her, too. Two birds, meet one giant rock, she thought, as she sat nervously in the cafeteria.
