"Aaaaand we're off," Dave said, shutting down the cameras. Another day, another set of news reports -- a three-car pileup that resulted in serious injuries, an unidentified out-of-towner found floating in the water by the docks, and a bake sale by Mothers Against Drunk Driving. However, the Director wasn't seeming too wowed by any of the latest stories. Nothing big, nothing new, he said. Fortunately, Dave had heard something that might just be the next big story... and he knew just the girl to cover it.
"You did great, dear," he called to Tanya, and began heading over to give her a hug and a kiss.
