Tamara pulled up to the address Tony had given her, and got out of the car. Nice house, nice neighborhood.
She figured that must be one of the perks of special ops work. Hell, she'd only met the guy once and she already knew she wouldn't want to fuck with him.
He was perfect for what she needed though, so she put on her best friendly smile and knocked on the door.
"Mr. Wolf, I'm sorry to disturb you at home - but I have an urgent mission that I really need your help on. It's something very personal and important to me, but it's right up you alley - so I was wondering if I could take up a bit of a time and explain the problem to you..."
"My boyfriend Gerald - he works for a government organization called COSMO, and he wants to stop working for them because they're really getting out of hand with their projects," Tamara said. "I've cleared him, and some scientists I kidnapped to get some information from - coming to work for us. That's all well and good- they're going to work that all out - but the problem is that Gerald's sick. He's got some special abilities that they gave him through experimentation, and he needs an injection of a serum on a weekly basis in order to be happy and healthy..."
Tamara frowned. "And that's where the problem lies. It's kept in their big boss's office - the scientists were able to tell me some of what is in it, but not all. So I need someone to break in, steal as much of the compound as they can, and bring it back so that we can give Gerald some to keep him going and examine some of it to see what it contains so we can make more..."
Tamara nodded. "It is. And I brought you notes, and diagrams of the inside of the building and such..."
She offered over the papers. "These are from the lead scientist, Smedley Novas. He's still over at my place if you need to come ask him any questions."
"As soon as possible," Tamara said. "Gerald has already gone longer than he should without his medication, and it makes him feel progressively more sick the longer he goes without it..."
She looked up at him, with a hopeful expression. "Will you do it? Please... it would help us so much."
Malone glared at the departing Tamara, surmising her to be the reason for the interruption of plans.
"But you said you didn't have to work this weekend," he said petulantly. "Can I have them over while you're gone, so I won't be lonely? I can hold dinner for you..."
"Well, I didn't know someone was slowly dying of a chemical dependency and about to turn coat and join us, either," Wolf said. "And yes, that would work."
"Alright," Malone said, figuring that did sound pretty important and all. He headed back to the phone and picked it up to tell his brother.
"Wolf's got to do some work tonight, so he'll be late- but you guys can come over around six and keep me company, then we'll have a late dinner when Wolf gets back?"
She figured that must be one of the perks of special ops work. Hell, she'd only met the guy once and she already knew she wouldn't want to fuck with him.

"What time should Gregory come over for dinner?" he asked.

"My number's on file too, so just give me a call if you need any more information, or to let me know it's done or whathaveya..."
She nodded politely to Malone when he showed up behind Wolf in the doorway.
