Who: Vito, Nica, Michael, Anna, Morrigan, Katie, Tina, Ming, Juice, Kyle, dot, MJ, warren, sin, lizzie
Where: Sunset
When: Thursday night
Vito was hanging at the Sunset with a drink and a basket of wings.
Nica was nearby, watching people dance.
Michael was manning the table this evening, and watching the crowd.
Anna was with him, her hair straighter for once, and looking pretty happy to be sitting with Vito
Morrigan was at the bar, looking mostly relaxed, but a little worried, and picking at some fries.
Katie was running late, and scuttled quickly into the club.
Tina was sitting, and waved to rushing Katie.
Ming was settled at the table with Michael, relaxing.
Juice lurked behind the table with Kyle, looking kinda mopey.
Kyle patted Juice. "Smile."
"Fry?" Tina offered to Juice. Morrigan wasn't eating them, so why not?
Morrigan frowned at Tina. "Are you giving away my food?"
Katie waved as she came over. "Sorry I'm late..."
"I'm redistributing it to the needy." TIna said
"Is everything okay?" Tina asked Katie
"Yeah... my mom wanted a 'family dinner'," Katie explained.
"...A family dinner? Wow. Was the food at least good?"
Anna smiled at Vito. "Thanks for coming out with me tonight."
"Yeah. Mom's a good cook," Katie nodded. "But still, usually she's working at nights, so...yeah."
"Yeah, no worries," Vito said.
Juice tried to smile and took a fry. "Thanks..."
"Looks like it's going to be a good night," Ming said to Michael.
"See, much better," Kyle said, smiling.
Michael nodded. "Hope so."
Juice hugged Kyle, and tried to keep smiling.
Morrigan had another fry.
"It's been too long since we just sat like this." Anna said, to Vito "I kinda missed it."
"Is Morrigan okay?" Katie inquired.
"She's worried about a lot of stuff." Tina explained
"Ooh. Such as?" Katie settled into a seat.
"Same here," Vito said. He smiled.
"I'm just worried about my brother," Juice confessed.
Ming glanced around the room and rested her head against Michael.
"Looks like a nice evening," Michael said. "Haven't seen any trouble come in yet."
TIna wasn't sure what to say, so she had another fry
"The homecoming thing" Tina said "And... I don't know what else Morrigan is worried about,"
"Well, worrying won't make things better, usually," Katie answered, rubbing her neck. "Besides, that's one reason to come to clubs, to have fun and forget about that stuff for a while.
Morrigan shrugged. "Too much trouble around, lately," she said. "And it's not even the bad stuff we're usually worried about.:
"It can't just stick around forever." TIna said "And Katie said we're supposed to have fun, and forget about that stuff for a little while."
Katie nodded. "Yeah. Relax."
"That's good," Ming said. "I just hope the Requiem goes as smoothly."
Juice cleaned up a bit behind the bar
Morrigan gave them an uncertain smile. "I suppose you're right."
"Hey, I get to play the bass for Requiem, for some band. That's good, right?" Tina said
Katie nodded. "Of course I'm right. So have some fun."
"Seriously? That's cool," Morigan said.
"Really? Neat. What sort of band?" Katie asked.
"Um, some metal girl band. I think something about Suicide." TIna shrugged. It was a gig, so she couldn't be choosy
"Oh, I think I know them..." Katie said, frowning a little.
"Really?" asked Tina "Are they a cool band? I'm not an expert on metal or anything"
"They tend to make out on stage," Katie said.
" ... " Morrigan shook her head. "I wouldn't have joined that band."
Tina stopped smiling.
"At least, the one time I saw them performing," Katie clarified.
"...I. Um, awkward moment." Tina put her head down, and tried to pretend she wasn't there.
"So... yeah." Katie frowned.
Juice plunked down next to Kyle again.
Dot scurried in from outside, then flopped down at the bar to catch her breath.
Kyle petted Juice's hair.
Katie waved to Dot.
Dot waved, a little breathlessly.
"You okay?" Katie asked. "Or did you just realize you're late too?"
"I'm late? Nope, I just jogged here. Riding around is fine and all, but I don't wanna get too out of shape!" Dot said.
"Hey Dot," Juice said, waving from behind the bar where he was cuddled up with Kyle.
TIna looked pretty unhappy
'Hi Juice and Kyle!" Dot waved to them too.
Anna looked over at Nica, and frowned "She going to be okay?" she asked Vito
"Yeah, I think so," Vio said quietly. "She's taking the Becky thing kinda hard."
"Well she's coming back." Anna said "And she's on the phone way the hell too much."
Katie nodded. "Well, okay, then..." She leaned over to give Tina a hug.
Tina hugged. "I'm never joing a band again." she said, quietly
Juice looked kind of bummed today. "S'up?"
Vito nodded. "Yeah, but she'd not here, and that feels kind of end-of-the-world to her, I guess," Vito said.
Dot wiped her forehead. "Not much. I just felt like going for a jog, and here I am!"
"... well, maybe it was just that one time. When did they ask you to join?" Katie asked.
Kyle waved. "Juice is homeless."
"Today." Tina said
Dot frowned. "What? When? Why?"
"They needed an emergency bass player." Tina explained
"Teenagers make no sense." Anna said
Kyle shrugged. "David was forced to leave the country by the British or something. It's weird."
"Well, did the band member who talked to you seem nice?" Katie asked.
Morrigan looked up at Kyle. "Wait. David left? Faith's Watcher?"
"Yeah." Tina said "She was a little twitchy."
Kyle nodded. "Yeah. Apparently the British showed up, so they had to abandon their home or something."
"...wha?" Dot got lost in all the names.
Kyle nudged Juice. "Tell 'em."
"These Watcher people showed up and wanted me and David to go to England," Juice said.
"And we didn't want to go, so... I had to come here, and David.. I don't know where he is," Juice said. He curled back up to Kyle.
Dot blinked. "That's terrible!"
"So ... uh. That's messed up. Did Faith join up with OSI?" Morrigan asked.
Kyle shrugged. "Dunno."
Dot looked back and forth between Kyle, Morrigan, and Juice. "I ...don't know any of those names at all."
"See, now, I'm starting to worry again," Morrigan said to Tina and Katie.
Katie leaned over to Dot and patted her on the shoulder. "I know most of them, but not what they mean in context."
"So what DOES that mean?" Katie asked Morrigan for a translation.
Kyle petted the Juice.
Dot smiled. "Thanks, Katydid. I mean, I met Juice's brother..once.."
Juice sniffled and hugged Kyle.
Morrigan looked around. Nobody too far outside the circle seemed to be around. Well ... there was Dot. But whatever. "The group I work for used to be part of the group David worked for," she said. "David worked with someone named Hunter, who is a Watcher ... same sort of rank as Vito and MJ have, with us. Faith worked for Hunter and David. Following this so far?"
Dot shook her head. "Not at all!"
Morrigan looked at Katie. "How about you?"
"Rival cops." TIna said
Morrigan looked at Tina. "Okay, yeah, that kind of works."
"Kinda. The Watchers are to you guys what the Canadian Mounties are to American cops?" Katie asked.
"I guess." Tina shrugged
"One law, two viewpoints?" Dot frowned.
Katie could live with that explanation.
"Two spy groups, more like?" Kyle suggested. "Like MI-5, the CIA, and the KGB?"
"Yes ... they love the Queen and they're better dressed," Morigan said. "Anyway, it sounds like people who outranked Hunter tried to get David and Juice to leave Sunnydale, for some reason. And Faith ... no idea."
Dot nodded. That made a little more sense, anyway.
"I miss my brother," Juice said.
"Aw! I'm sure he'll come back soon," said Dot, leaning across to hug Juice.
Juice hugged back, sniffling.
"Did the other guy leave too?" asked Tina
Ming wasn't even harassing Juice to work tonight, because she felt sorry for him
"I don't know," Morrigan said. "Juice, do you know anything about that?"
"And hopefully, he's okay," Kyle said.
"What?" Juice looked up.
"Hunter," Morrigan said. "David's boss. Is he still in town, or did he get dragged of?"
"Maybe they all went on vacation somewhere?" Tina wanted to make Juice feel better. He looked really sad.
"I don't know," Juice said.
"So does this mean the lawyers won and now they own that Faith chick?" Kyle asked.
Tina frowned.
Morrigan looked ... yeah, worried. "She was having kind of an intense talk with Kit the other night, and wouldn't talk about it later."
"Is she going to kill us all?" Kyle asked.
"That's why I thought maybe she had joined the OSI," she said. "But I haven't heard anything official."
Dot was very tempted to ask for a scorecard, but didn't.
"'Cause if she betrayed Juice's brother, we need to kick her ass or something," Kyle suggested.
Juice nods. "Yeah, 'cause thta's not cool."
"Maybe it's-" Tina gave up on optimism
"Do you want to try dancing, maybe?" Katie suggested.
Tina shrugged, and got up to dance.
Katie trotted off to try her hand at dancing.
Tina wasn't the best dancer, and she was pretty quie
Dot sighed. "Aw, those two kids. "
Katie wasn't a good dancer, either, especially not goth-style, but she was trying, bless her heart.
"Are going to suck your blooooood," Kyle said.
"They're pretty good together," Morrigan said. " ... if a little awkward. I think it's all pretty new for both of them."
Dot nodded. "Still, it's sweet."
Kyle ruffled Juice's hair. "Hey, we're sweet toooo."
Morrigan nodded. "So, anybody caught your eye yet?"
Juice grinned. "We so are."
Dot grinned. "Me? I'm faaaaar too busy alienating everyone with my outlandish complaints."
"Besides, she's our fag hag," Kyle announced, cheerfully.
Dot grinned. "He's right, I so am."
"Oh. I used to work in theatre, so I was halfway to being one of those for a really long-ass time," Morrigan said.
"Totally," Juice said.
Dot nodded. "I built sets. That was fun. Making fun of all the super-emo kids was hours of entertainment!"
"And now she hangs out with us and makes fun of us!" Kyle added.
Dot nodded. "Oh, I tease because I love, you fluffyhead."
"And because it's good practice," Kyle added.
Dot laughed. "I'm never short of opportunities, at least."
Kyle gestured. "There's plenty of emo kids around here -- and she has boobs. So plenty of targets."
Dot grinned. "You're gonna make that kid jealous if you keep hitting on me, Kyle."
"I don't have boobs, but I'm emo," Juice said.
"He is indeed," Kyle agreed.
"I have boobs," Morrigan pointed out. "But I'm not very emo."
"If EVERYBODY was emo, it would be kind of boring, I think," said Dot.
"And depressing," Morrigan added.
"Whereas if everyone had curvy boobs, they'd probably be female," Kyle added.
"Yeah, I see how that works," Morrigan said.
Dot nodded. "This is why I'm the brains of this outfit," she said to Morrigan.
"Because you have the boobs?" Morrigan tried.
Anna tore herself away from Vito, and sat near Nica.
"Exactly," Kyle confirmed.
"Heya," Nica said, and smiled at Anna. "How're you?"
"I'm good. How are you?" asked Anna
Dot shook her head. "Close enough."
"Therefore, she has feminine wiles, which comes in handy when we deal with people who don't understand logic," Kyle added.
"Hangin' in there," Nica said.\
Juice nodded his agreement.
"Everyone is looking bummed tonight." Anna said
Dot nodded. "Are you on the Man's clock, Kyle?"
"If you mean Michael, yeah," Kyle said, pointing out Mike's table.
"Yeah," Nica said. "Bad week."
"Then, can I have some eggrolls please? Also, I am dying for a Coke." Dot smilled sweetly. "I have the monies you will ask me for ..."
"Anything I can do to help?" Anna asked "I mean, I know this is a goth club... but.."
"Alright, that'll be $4.50." Kyle said, and filled up a Coke.
Nica shrugged. "I dunno. I miss Bex. Not much you can do, there, I guess."
Dot passed money across the bar. "Thanks!"
Juice helped by going to get the eggrolls
"Go hang with your friends." Anna said "Maybe you guys can have fun together."
Kyle made change and grinned cheerfully.
Juice brought out the eggrolls. "Here ya go."
"You know," Katie said, after some determination, "I really have no idea what I'm doing, do you?"
Dot smiled. "Yay!" She patted at the eggrolls. "Still too hot."
"Yeah, but you know they'll be good," Kyle said.
"None at all" said Tina
"Okay, as long as it's not just me," Katie said.
"I dont think anyone knows." Tina said
"Really? 'Cause some of them look pretty good at it." Katie tilted her head, watching.
Kyle leaned over to smooch Juice.
"Uh... yeah." TIna said, not sure anymore. "They have no idea at all"
Juice kissed back. "Thanks for letting me hang back here with you. You're really making me feel a lot better about things."
Dot nodded. "I wouldn't order them if i thought they were going to be bad." She took one and chewed, thoughtfully.
"I'm just feeling kind of blah," Nica said. "I'd just make them feel bummed, too."
Anna sighed. "Call her then. Geez, I don't know why you two don't just date or somethig."
Nica rolled her eyes and took out her cell phone. "We're both kind of taken, and I'm not really her type," Nica said.
"Well, stop moping over her then." Anna shook her head
"'ello?" BEcky asked, on the other end of the phone.
Juice kinda edged over to steal one of Dot's eggrolls.
"Umm ... hi, Bex," Nica said.
Dot laughed. "You need work, kid. However, as I am magnanimous, you may have one."
"ello Neeca." Becky said " 'ow are you today?"
" ... sweetie, no. You sound like Kermit the Frog's gay brother."
Anna got up, and headed to the bar to see how everyone was doing
"Hi, Anna!" Kyle waved.
"Hey." Anna said "What's up?"
Dot waved, caught in mid-bite.
"I do?" asked Becky "Oh.. ok, I was trying to be british. Um, maybe I can be japanese."
Nica had heard way to much fangirl Japanese. "No."
"I'm blonde." Becky said "And I cut all my hair off."
"Dot's our fag hag. That's the summary," Kyle explained.
"WOuld you like something to eat?" Kyle added.
"Do you want to sit down now?" Katie offered.
"Wings, bloodlust." Anna said "And... did the cookies work- Dot, right?"
TIna nodded
Dot nodded. "I ..think so. I learned some things, anyway."
"No more fighting with each other, right?" Anna asked "Because that's not cool. You never know when you're going to need people."
"Wow," Nica said. "So, not very Japanese."
Katie nodded, and went to find herself a table.
Dot nodded. "OPen warfare isn't my style anyway."
"She's going to poison the cookies next time," Kyle added, serving up the bloodlust.
"No warfare." Anna said "And no poison cookies. You're all going to be here for Requiem, right?"
TIna followed Katie
Dot nodded. "Yes!"
"It's my disguise." Becky said "So I fit in while we're in Kansas, but don't tell anyone where I am."
"Ok, good." Anna nodded "How are you, Juice?"
"That's really corny," Nica said.
"Of course - I have to work here then," Kyle said.
"..Don't mention corn." Becky said
Nica smirked. "Everybody's all emo, here, tonight."
"Of course." Anna said "It's better here anyway. After I finish up at Homecoming, I'll be here."
"Why?" asked Becky
Juice waved to Anna.
"I'm cool."
He wasn't.
"Things are just weird. You're gone, people think Faith is going to try to kill everyone ... " Nica shrugged.
Anna leaned over the counter to give Juice a hug
"Awesome. It'll be a great party," Kyle said.
"Uhh... Just, uh... oh look, uh, stuff. I'll call you in the morning. Bye!" Becky hung up the phone
Juice hugged Anna and started crying.
Nica sighed. "Love you, Bex, but you're no help." She put away her phone and went over to sit with Juice and company.
"It'll be fine." Anna said "We'll find him, okay? Everything will be good again."
Dot waved to Nica, being caught mid-bite again.
"Everything totally blows right now," Juice sobbed. "David's gone, and Becky's god knows where, and Fanny's going to win homecoming I bet, too."
Kyle grinned. "Ever notice that everyone seems to come over when you're shoving something in your mouth, Dot?"
"Kan ... I have a bite of that?" Nica censored herself, turning to Dot.
"Ok, if Fanny does win homecoming" Anna said "It's not going to be a good night for her. Becky's probably in her boyfriends apartment, and David's probably hiding out in a hotel. Everything is going to be fine."
"See?" Kyle said, to Juice. "Relax."
Dot nodded and pushed the plate over. "Last one, even."
"So... besides me, have you ever dated before?" Katie asked, abruptly.
Juice tried to relax, taking a big sniffily breath.
"Kinda." Tina said "But it was more of a... um.. it was complicated, and we didn't really go on any dates."
"What happened?" Katie asked.
"Sorry guys," Juice said. "I don't mean to bring everyone down."
"See... it'll be okay," Kyle said. "Just reamin calm."
"Kinda." Tina said "But it was more of a... um.. it was complicated, and we didn't really go on any dates."
Juice settled down to hug Kyle again. He was really clingy tonight, too.
"It was a guy." Tina said "He worked for the lawyers too, and we'd just kinda hang out. I haven't seen him since... before I stopped working for them." Tina said "But, I like you. I want to take you to the movies and stuff, and get you something nice."
"What's going to cheer people up?" asked Anna "I mean, something I can take care of tonight."
"I don't know," Juice admitted.
"Juggling?" Kyle suggested.
Dot shook her head. "I ...don't know."
"Gimmie something to juggle." Anna said. It wouldn't hurt to try...
Juice fished out some oranges from under the bar.
"Attention! The Amazing Anna will now juggle... oranges!" Kyle said, cheerfully.
Anna shrugged, and attempted juggling.
She seemed to have fun with it, anyway
Katie nodded. "I was dating a senior for a while, but he broke up with me after I disappeared for a month."
"..You disappeared for a month?" asked Tina
Katie nodded.
Dot applauded, politely.
Juice clapped
"What happened?" Tina asked
Anna showed off a little, since she seemed to have the hang of it
"There were these vampires that were living under the town, and they kidnapped me and some other people," Katie said, frowning.
"Vampires had you for a month?" asked Tina, who looked upset "Did the- Did Anna kill them?"
"Most of them, eventually," Katie said, nodding. "And the rest ran away after their leader died or something."
"That was actually pretty fun to watch," Juice said. It cheered him up a little.
Dot nodded. "Good for you!"
Kyle nodded. "You're pretty good!"
"I want to do something to them." Tina said "Because they hurt you... but I can't do anything."
Anna beamed "Thanks! It was fun"
"Me either... so I try not to think about it too much. It makes my neck itch," Katie said. "And it kinda sucked that my boyfriend left me, too."
"Was he a good boyfriend?" asked Tina, who really didn't look happy.
"Not really... but at least he thought I was nice," Katie said. "So yeah."
"If not for the fact that it'd be stupidly dangerous, you could juggle knives or axes or something," Kyle said.
"Yeah, wouldn't want to slip and hit anyone." Anna said "But I could juggle les dangerous stuff."
"You are nice." Tina said "You're really nice, and I wish that bad things would stay away from you. I wish I could do something about it right now."
"Unless you were on a stage away from everyone - or unless you WANTED to hit people next to you," Kyle said.
"Well... bad stuff bothers everything around here, really," Katie said.
"I don't like hitting people." Anna said
"I know.." TIna frowned "And I'm in here, and I can't do anything. And no matter how many bad things you kill, more will come, because this town is like crack for evil things, which is why you have to go to college far away, because you're really too good for this town."
Dot sighed.
Juice took one of the previously juggled oranges and started peeling it
"What's up, Dot?" asked Anna "Want an orange?"
"We're sacrificing oranges," Kyle said cheerfully.
Dot nodded. "Yes please." She took an orange.
"Yeah. So here's hoping college works out," Katie nodded.
"It will." Tina said
MJ headed in, looking around for Morrigan
Morrigan saw him, and walked over to greet him. "Hey, how're you?"
"What're you going to do?" Katie asked.
"Anyway, I think all this coupleness is bumming me out, or something," said Dot. "I'm happy enough to be a solitary redwood, but seeing all those other groups of trees waaaay down there can get a little depressing."
MJ shrugged. "How're things? Any good information?"
"I don't know." Tina said "I have no idea, at all."
"You don't like our wood?" Kyle said, amused. "Sorry..."
Katie sighed. "Nothing in this town is fair."
Dot thwapped him, gently. "You know what I mean. Everybody's so sad today."
"Well ... the Watchers' Council came to get David and Juice, and nobody seems to know where Faith, Becky or Hunter went," Morri said.
"Well, then stop being emo, or Juice will have to tabledance," Kyle said.
Juice segmented the orange, and offered Kyle some pieces
"My life will work out." TIna said, not sure that it would "And yours will too, you'll see."
Dot smirked. "Easy for you to say. I, on the other hand, would pay him to stop."
"Mmm, thank you." Kyle munched cheerfully. "Seriously? Juice! Dot will pay you not to tabledance!"
"No way, really? How much?" Juice asked.
"They're in town?" MJ frowned "That explains... shit... Ok, I have stuff to do for the school. Um- get someone to stake out the houses if you can... try to find out where people are, and crap, I have to make some calls." MJ gave Morrigan a quick hug and kiss "See you in a few hours."
Morrigan started to say something, but then MJ was leaving, and she sighed and went back to the others. "Okay ... I gotta go. You guys have a good night." She left money on the bar for a tip.
"I ...." Dot dug through her pack and came out with her wallet. She rifled through it and pulled out a $5. "That much."
Kyle nodded to Morri, collected, and looked to Juice. "Five dollars - how about it?"
"Ooh, thanks," Juice said, pocketing it. "I'm so not tabledancing now."
Dot clapped. "I've saved the day!"
"What if -I- tabledanced?" Kyle said.
Dot shook her head. "This is supposed to make me feel better?"
"That would be totally sexy," Juice said.
Kyle grinned and wiggled a bit.
Dot laughed. "Save it for rooms that I'm not in."
"I totally want to see that later," Juice said.
"I am so sexy, sexy," Kyle sang, wiggling a bit, and grinning.

"Mmm, yes you are baby," Juice said, troubles momentarily forgotten in watching Kyle shake it.
"LALALALALALA I CANNOT HEAR YOU," sang Dot.
"Sexy sexy..." Kyle teased, and settled down when he realized Michael was looking in his direction.
"What are those boys doing?" Ming asked.
Dot smiled sweetly and waved. "HI MIKE," she called.
Juice started laughing. "Michael thinks you're hot too."
Michael shook his head. "I think they're pretending they have breasts."
"Table dancing." said Anna "It's distractig them."
"Y'know, there's actually a rule against table dancing, but usually it doesn't have to be enforced," Michael commented dryly.
"Hey guys. Stop it." Anna said
"Sorry!" Juice called. "My fault." He didn't want Kyle to get in trouble.
"I'm gonna go rat on you!" teased Dot, slipping away from the bar and going to visit Michael, Ming, and Anna.
Michael waved. "HeyaDot."
Anna waved.
"Hi Mike! I asked them not to. I even gave them money. I feel robbed now somehow." She sprawled out in a nearby chair.
"You deliberately paid them not to dance?" Michael said, amused.
Ming shook her head. "At least Juice isn't moping anymore."
"Yeah. I feel bad for him." Anna said
Dot nodded. "I did! I'm not above bribery, sometimes..."
"If they broke the contract, you get a refund." Anna said
"He really misses his brother. And Becky too," Ming said.
Juice went back to quietly hugging Kyle.
Kyle hugged Juice. "Hey, sexy sexy."
Dot nodded. "I know. I can't think of anything to really say or do."
"Well... if he really wants to know where his bro is, I could find out," Michael said. "But I think he's too busy panicking right now."
"Hey baby," Juice said, kissing his neck.
"...Yeah, panicking" Anna said
"Could you, for me? It would be a nice surprise for him, I think." Dot smiled, sweetly.
"Yeah -- Anna, could you watch the club for a minute?" Michael asked.
"No prob." Anna said
Michael kissed Ming on the forehead, then ducked into the back.
Ming smiled.
Her orange hair contrasting the black-and-pink cargo pants and long-sleeved shirt she was wearing, Cynthia Stone came walking into the Sunset Club, a grin on her face that almost was more noticible than the dark eyeliner she wore. "Watch out, world... Hopeful Homecoming Queen coming through..."
Dot smiled. "We're doing a good thing."
Lizzie walked in with Sin, looking cheerful. "You're so going to win."
"That would totally make me like... the High School version of Bill Clinton. Which would totally make you my Al Gore. Only without the bitchy wife." Sin grinned at Lizzie, playfully wrapping an arm over her shoulders.
Warren jogged in after the two of them. "Hey! Wait up. I need to talk to you."
Lizzie smiled at Warren- then realised he wasn't talking to her this time.
"You're going to be at Homecoming, right?" Warren asked - yep, directed towards Cynthia.
Sin blinked a few times, then looked at Lizzie. "Is he talking to me? Isn't he like, YOUR boytoy?"
"I'm everyone's boytoy. Anyhow. Since you're going to be there, how would you like to make twenty bucks?" Warren asked.
Lizzie sighed at that.
"If this is one of those Tutorotica things, SO not interested..." The girl crossed her thin arms, taking a defensive stance.
"No, I'm looking for someone to douse someone else in punch at the Homecoming," Warren explained.
Sin looked at Warren, then to Lizzie, then back to Warren. "Well, ya got me interested, at least. So... who you trying to pull a Carrie on?"
"Fantasma Del Diavolo," Warren answered.
"Waitwaitwait... FANNIE?" Sin gawked slightly, without meaning to. "Ain't you, you know, helping her?"
Warren shrugged. "I'm her campaign manager. Twenty bucks up front, twenty bucks after the job is done. Interested?" Warren said.
Lizzie chuckled.
"If you have an intermediary to do the dirty work for you, that's perfectly fine by me," Warren added. "Just as long as it gets done."
"Warren... I'm totally flattered that you'd think of me. I think." She furrowed her brow and nibbled her lip. "But I'm not really the 'mess with people' type. Especially since I can't fight to save my life, and she knows a lot of big, strong guys."
"Actually, no, she doesn't. Most of the big strong guys are voting for Cordelia. I've asked." Warren smirked.
"Just find one of your constituents who's voting for you, and get them to do it. Piece of cake," Warren added.
"Liz? Wanna help me here?" Sin looked back to her for a moment, then looked to Warren. "I... I just don't feel comfortable doing that to someone. I hate Fannie, don't get me wrong. I kinda hope she slips in a big puddle of AIDS or something. But this just isnt me."
"Well, I can't... I'm going to be at the Requiem on Homecoming," Lizzie said, apologetic.
"Alright, just thought I'd ask," Warren said. "Know anyone who would?"
Anna sat in the corner watching the club
Tina was sitting with Katie, being quietly moody
Katie petted Tina's head. "You okay?"
Michael emerged. "Heh..."
Sin thought for a minute, then shrugged. "What about one of those douchebag jocks who live for tormenting people?"
"I'll be fine." Tina said "How are you doing?"
"What is it Mike?" Anna asked
"Already checked that possibility. Most of them are just expecting to fuck whoever wins the crown until she bleeds, so I don't think they'll have time for punch," Warren said. "Besides, they and I don't get along under most circumstances."
"He's apparently busy pretending to be a woman," Michael answered simply.
"..." Anna blinked "What?"
"I'm fine. The club's going to close soon, though," Katie observed. "Weren't they closing it earlier these days?"
"Wow. If I win, they're all in for a big surprise." Sin grinned, knowing she planned on pretty much tossing the crown away if she won.
Warren shrugged. "Can't be a bigger surprise than last year -- I think they're still sore over that."
Dot laughed aloud. "Trying to find common ground with Juice?"
Michael shrugged. "Well, he's asleep, he's wearing a wig and a nightgown, and he's apparently in a dorm room."
"And he smells like perfume," Michael added, making a face.
"They were." Tina said "And you have school tomorrow."
Dot snorted. "Oh, that's priceless!"
"...Perfume?" Anna shook her head
"So I should probably get going," Katie sighed. She leaned over to hug Tina.
"Hey, you wanted to know," Michael said.
Dot nodded, more seriously. "Not for myself, it's to make Juice feel better."
Tina hugged Katie. "I really wish I could do something to make sure you got home safely."
"As long as mom is asleep, I'll be fine," Katie assured.
"Well... heh." Michael shrugged.
Sin whispered something into Lizzie's ear, and then grinned sheepishly at Warren. "You're a real piece of work, ya know that?"
Warren shrugged. "So I hear. Anyhow, excuse me..." He wandered Nicawards, figuring her a likely person to ask.
Lizzie giggled a bit, and nodded.
Dot stood up. "Want me to tell him?"
"Hey! Warren!" She tried to catch him before he got too far away.
"I hate that I can't do anything." Tina said
"What?" Warren turned and asked.
"Well, most of us can't. Except the occasional superheroes," Katie said. "Kinda sucks, but what can you do?"
Katie got to her feet and started heading outwards, trying not to look too unhappy/moody.
Tina looked dark for a moment as Katie left. She had to do something...
"Sure, go for it." Michael smirked. This would be bad.
Sin blushed slightly, which, with her pale skin, looked REALLY obvious. "Not that it's a great tme to be asking you for favors... but if your buddy Jonathan ever ditches La Femme Nikita, tell him to look me up, ok?"
"Sure, no problem," Warren said, nodding.
Dot nodded, and hurried off to the bar. "Hey Juice!"
Katie scooted past Warren, Lizzie, and Cynthia, and headed out for the night.
Sin could almost FEEL Lizzie looking at her, and grumbled. "I can't help it, ok! He's got those cute little puppydog eyes."
"Anything else?" Warren asked.
"Nah... that's it." Sin muttered, blushing as she looked at the floor.
Lizzie patted Sin.
"And I thought I had weird taste in boys."
Juice looked up and smiled at Dot. "Hey."
Tina glared at her table.
"Hey, Jonno's a good kid," Warren said. "Though why rainbowgirls like him so much is something I don't know." He trotted off to see if he could pester Anna and company.
"Mike asked me to come fetch you for something, so here i am!" She smiled.
Kyle snagged the intercom. "Attention, goths and gothites... it's last call time. Last call. We're closing up in about half an hour, so if your night isn't ready to end, you'd better get ready to take it elsewhere. Thirty minutes, people!"
"Oh, okay..." Juice got out from behind the bar and headed towards the Michael table.
Lizzie sighed and watched Warren go.
"I don't know why I have it so bad for that boy," Lizzie confessed to Sin.
Dot followed along behind Juice.
Michael waved. "Hey, George."
"Lizzie." Sin sighed long and tiredly there. "Seriously. Is there something I don't know? Is he like... packing a firehose down there or something? Because he's.. kind of creepy."
"No he's.. he's just different when he's not around a whole bunch of people," Lizzie said. "We actually have things in common, and we talk and such. And he's a nice person deep down."
"Hey, sorry about earlier," Juice said.
"No problem. Your brother's hiding out at UC Sunnydale," Michael said.
"Hey." Anna said, to Warren
"I'm not a tough person. And... I probably couldn't beat up a cadaver." Sin just gave a defeated shrug. "But Liz? If that guy hurts you? Like... in any way? I *do* know how to drive, and I *will* run him over with my truck."
"Yo. Are any of you actually going to be at the Homecoming?" Warren asked.
"I will." Anna said "Because I'm a cheerleader or some crap like that."
"You happen to mind doing me a favor for twenty bucks?" Warren asked.
"What is it?" Anna asked
Lizzie smiled a bit sadly. "Well, I don't think he intentionally hurts me, you know? He's just.. being himself."
"I need someone at the Homecoming doused in whatever punch they're serving up. Or paint, or whatever," Warren said, "as long as it's good at ruining an expensive silk gown."
"Um... Did you ever see 'Carrie'?" Anna asked "And this is Sunnydale... so... Have you seen 'Carrie'?"
"Hush, LizLiz. Just remember. Truck." Cynthia raised a brow cutely.
"Yeah, well, if she IS a Carrie, then your job is to kick her ass anyhow," Warren pointed out. "You know Fantasma Del Diavolo, right?"
"Oh, I'll do it." Anna said, a little too quickly "On her, right?"
Dot smiled. "I'm helping."
"He's safe, right?" Juice said.
Lizzie laughed.
"Right," Warren said. "I figured you might object less when you heard who it was."
"Well, sort of," Michael said, "although I can see where you get it from."
"Oh hun, you don't have to worry. Twenty bucks you say? No problem." Anna smiled
"Get what from?" Juice said, scratching his head.
Warren chuckled. "Good -- I'll pay you when it's done then. Looking forward to hearing about the aftermath."
Dot snickered.
"And you really think Jonathan is cute?" Lizzie asked.
Warren grinned, and started trotting back outwards.
"The crossdressing," Michael said.
"Half up front." Anna called
Warren stopped, fished in his pocket, and handed over a ten. "Thereyago." He grinned.
Sin gave an embarrassed grin and shrugged. "Yeah. He's a nice kid, and he has a cute smile. Plus, nerds are totally cute, and he doesn't seem skeezy at all."
"Thanks sweetie." Anna shoved the money in her pocket, and headed back to the table
Warren was, yes, putting that campaign money to good use.
Anna was smiling to herself. This was great.
Warren considered trying to get a few more people... but the club was closing, so... outwards he went.
Dot sighed. "Aw, it's closing time? When did that happen?"
"Yeah and-- eep, looks like they're closing up," Lizzie said. "We better get a move on."
"Heh, actually, the club is supposed to close at two," Michael pointed out.
"Holy crap, my brother's crossdressing?" Juice said.
"I've been letting it slide a lot, and frankly, that leaves me with three hours of sleep," Michael added.
Ming was already half asleep at the table.
"Which makes me want to kill things. So I'm trying to get used to closing the club earlier," Michael said.
"I could help!" offered Dot.
"Well, this sucks like Fannie at a Frat party..." Sin pouted cutely and stomped her foot. "C'mon... wanna crash at my place tonight? Mom and Dad will be totally cool with it."
"I can finish up." Anna said "If you want to get her to bed."
Sure enough, Kyle snagged the intercom. "Closing time, everybody get outta here. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here!"
Michael nodded. "If you don't mind, Anna. Call if it gets out of hand."
Tina blinked, and started clearing things, and helping to close.
Kyle left the bar and started urging the non-livers out to the streets.
"I got it Mike." Anna said
Michael carefully picked Ming up, and carried her on to the back.
Dot headed outwards, stopping by the bar to say goodnight to Juice and Kyle.
"G'night, Dot," Kyle said, and gave her a hug. "Walk safely, hm?"
"Sure," Lizie said, and headed out with Sin.
Dot nodded. "I'd ask you guys for a ride, but it's kinda late for you guys too." She hugged, and looked hopefully around for another orange.
"If you aren't out of here in two minutes." called Anna "You're all going to have to listen to Jewel when you come back, and if you actually are dumb enough to like her, you'll listen to Celine Dion"
Juice hugged Dot. "You need to crash?"
"Yeah, you can probably crash here," Kyle said. "It's just the nontrusted sorts that have to get lost."
Dot nodded. "I suppose, if Mike doesn't mind. I know we didn't clear it with him or anything."
"Just don't bleed on things, and he'll be fine, I'm sure..." Kyle said. "Or just stay in our room and hang out with us."
"...bleed on things?" Dot blinked. "Don't you boys want boytime? I'd hate to, um, interrupt."
Tina was actually pretty quick at getting things cleaned up and put up - once people were up.
"Well, Juice is being all emo," Kyle pointed out.
"Even though he got some good news? Dot asked.
"Well," Kyle looked to Juice. "Are you less emo now?"
"I'm less emo," Juice said.
"Now that I know my brother is safe and crossdressing."
"So, do we want Dot over to hang, or do we want some privacy?" Kyle asked.
"Now that I'm living here, we can totally have more sex, so I'm good with hanging out," Juice said.
Dot nodded. "Okay!"
"See, told you," Kyle said. "We'll just have hot ass sex when you're not around."
Anna locked the door behind the last person. "Ok, they're all- what's Dot still doing here?"
Kyle called, "She's staying with us tonight."
"Oh. Is it okay with Mike?" asked Anna
"LALALA I DIDN'T HEAR THAT," sang Dot.
"And... damn. Good cleanup." Anna added, before doing the last few other closing things.
"Well, he's let her stay over other times - and she's just going to stay in our room," Kyle added.
"Ok, cool then. Just wated to be sure." Anna said
Dot clapped. "Just ..don't try and sneak in sex. I'll know!"
Kyle chuckled. "Suuuure you will."
"We'll totally do it in the bathroom if the overwhelming urge for sexing occurs," Juice assured her.
"You sneak it in, make sure it's protected." Anna said
