Planning for the future
Who: Ben, OT Perdy, Meredith, and anyone else interested
Where: The Bronze
When: Saturday afternoon, a few hours before opening
With Bretton having been off taking care of what he called 'personal matters', and Bronte going away on some sort of vacation, Ben had been doing the lion's share of work at The Bronze lately. However, after helping to put together the Daylight Dies CD Release Party, he found that he enjoyed putting these things together, and decided to start trying to shape the club into something more in his better interests.
First things were first: he bought ad space in the local newspaper, with the words HELP WANTED in bold letters. He knew that for what he wanted, the club would definitely need more employees. So he placed the ad stating he was looking for bartenders, DJs, waiters/waitresses, and cooks. Yes... he wanted to start having good food served at the club as well.
And so, with a few hours left until the bar actually opened to the general public, Ben stood behind the bar, doing a bit of cleaning, waiting to see if anyone would come a-calling for work. And hell, even if they didn't... he'd asked Meredith to come talk to him if she was interested in having her band play there again, and he knew that Perdy always knew where to find him. So... looking snazzy as always, Ben waited. For something, anything, to help him waste some time until opening.
