Servator duties
Who: Gregory OT Ming, Michael
Where: The Magic Box's backroom training area
When: Thursday evening
Gregory had to admit, the training area that Ming's previous Servator had prepared was fairly ideal. The shop owner didn't seem to mind the use of the space -- perhaps in part because Ming worked there in her off hours, and Michael was one of his more frequent customers -- and it was reasonably well-padded and stocked with training weapons. Considering he didn't want to seriously injure his students, or get seriously injured himself, that was definitely a good thing.
While technically he was mostly supposed to train Ming, he had agreed to train both of them together. They were obviously highly inseparable, and besides, it served multiple purposes to be able to track the progress of both of them. Today's lesson plan involved one of his personal favorites, the fighting style of Capoeira. While it was seldom used for practical warfare, being able to maneuver swiftly in combat was very useful when dealing with demonic foes that thrived on close combat, and helped to develop the natural grace of the student.
"So how are you two today?" he inquired when they arrived. "Ready for some sparring?"
