After dinner conversation
Who: Rachel ot Martin

When: Wednesday evening
Rachel had a lot on her mind, and wanted to talk to Martin about some of what had been bothering her. Since school started, they'd both been pretty busy - but she hoped they'd be able to make time to have a nice evening together. To that end, she'd invited him over for dinner at her house.
She'd made a nice roast, something the whole family could enjoy. After dinner, when the girls had wandered off to their rooms to do whatever it was that teen girls did these days - Rachel settled on the couch and patted the spot next to her for Martin.
"Do you ever feel like life is just too crazy sometimes?" she asked. "I keep collecting assignments, it seems - and I've hardly time to breathe as it is."
