Preparations...
Who: Gwen OT Wesley & Laili
Where: Wes' house
When: Thursday morning
To say the previous night had been hectic for Gwen, to say that least. She had spent all night writing draft after draft of what she wanted to say to Skylar, as well as digging through her belongings to find the ring she'd been left by her mother. This had to be perfect, after all. Gwen may have not been the most girly girl... but dammit, she was still a girl. She wanted this to be something to remember for years to come. Hopefully for good reasons. As in, the other girl saying 'yes', and not laughing and running off.
So, after finally getting the words right and locating the ring, Gwen managed to get about two hours of sleep before having to wake early enough to both get ready AND catch Wes & Laili before they headed off to work.
Finally, the young Slayer-in-training plodded into the kitchen, having just finished putting on almost enough makeup to cover up her lackof sleep, and looked at the two who had become damned-near her adopted parents.
"Hey, guys? I need to talk to you about something... you got a few minutes?"
