Scary Movie time!
So I finally took my car in to the Jiffy Lube this morning, to get the oil changed. And shocking shock, it is now no longer making that god-awful sound it's been making for the past week and a half.
Usually, I'm really good about getting the oil changed "every 3000 miles or 3 months, whatever comes first" but this time it was more like 3700 miles. The dude said the oil looked like diesel fuel. Oops. The dude I was talking to used to live in Texas, but hasn't been back in 16 years or so. He had this wicked beard going, like the dude from Anthrax, just without the multi-colored stripes. Anyway, good story.
I'm cleaning the apartment today, because that's what I like to do on my Saturdays. And I'm watching "Monsterfest" on AMC on the side. I finally saw Friday the 13th, except it was the 2nd part. Still haven't seen the first. So, the lesson I'm gleaning from that movie is apparently "don't have sex." I just watched the end of Nightmare on Elm Street. That's a pretty freaky concept for a movie, if you think about it. A killer who attacks you when you sleep? That totally sucks, man.
Tonight it's The Exorcist. God, it fucking sucks being poor. I'm pretty sure everyone here thinks I'm the lamest person ever, but if they knew the kind of astronomical debt I brought in to my stint in law school, THEN added in the actualy student loan debt I took out, it would probably make more sense as to why I end up sitting home a lot.
I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT TO COME HOME! I guess it's easier to do free shit when you have more places to go. That aren't so far away. (My sister keeps telling me to talk to more people and I'm like "but I don't like people?" Hah. Eh, I got tha problems.) Thanksgiving vacation is only like 3 and half weeks from now, then Christmas vacation is in 47 days. (I know this because the girl who sits next to me in Contracts, who coincidentally, is also from the Dallas area, has a "Countdown to Christmas vacation" on her computer.
Okay, again, another boring post from me. I've been really bad about updating this thing, but I think everyone else has too. It's laundry time!
