So I have had my first (of many, I am sure) Rebecca Moments in my new place. Ready?

I melted a spatula in the dishwasher.

Hahahhahahahahaha.

Seriously, what the hell? I started a load of dishes, and about 30 minutes later, I smell something like burning plastic. So I open the dishwasher and this spatula had fallen to the bottom ( Read more... )

Haha....I dropped a half gallon of milk yesterday and stood, stunned while it glugged to the floor (why I didn't immediately pick it up, I have no idea).

Remember the flaming popcorn? Where are Brooxie and Kerri when we need them?

Katy! Help! The bag of popcorn is smoking! What do we do? Oh I know, Rebecca, let's put it in the trash can in the hall. Oh no, the trash can is smoking! Eek! Find the RA! Call security!

And now I'm responsible for a whole dorm of freshmen. Poor things.
