It just so happens it isn't just any apartment. From the spacious living room, with the pink flamingo standing guard in the far corner to the big piano by the large, literally floor to ceiling windows to the audacious, ox blood red paisley couch and armchair combo...it's safe to say anyone living there has got to be an eccentric fellow. But there's also something about the too clean neatness that suggests it isn't so much a home as somewhere to store a bunch of pretty, quirky things and a gigantic collection of music.
"I had a feeling." Laying his hand on top of hers, Lorne sits down on the dark mahogany coffee table. It's a tad too small for him not to look like he's dwarfing it, but it'll do. It's just perfect for some casual, informal winding down time.
"Who are they? If you don't mind telling me, I'd like to know."
"Shh, my little bird girl, you'll be fine. I promise." He smiles, patting the pale little hands. "Have some tea, try to wind down, get some rest. You've had a very stressful evening."
He called Angus on his way out the door, telling him he might need some doorways opened before long. They'll have a look at Emma's options in the morning, but for the moment they're safe. She's safe. He can be content with that, for now.

Too exhausted to really feel the fear.
"They found me."
