Man, Valentine's Day is a major pain. Worst part is I'm out over $200 bucks. But do gotta keep my girl happy.
Anya expects her boyfriend to give her flowers and expensive jewelry on Valentine's Day. So to avoid being in the dog house, really had to be much with the romance. I got her a dozen long-stem red roses, and a way too expensive heart pendant. Nothing shows romance like expensive gifties.
I'm just glad she didn't go on and on about all the bad boyfriends she brought vengeance too for not being with the romance or faithfulness this time of year. She just gone on about her capitalistic obsession of making loads of money at the Magic Box. Yes, I know this time of year is great for love spells and charms to those looking for love. Though believe me, trying to use magic to get someone to love you never ends well. Uh, anyhow, don't want to bring up my ex's. Anya gets upset if I mention Cordelia, or Faith. So no mentioning of the ex love interests.
I gave Anya a very romantic candle light dinner. A perfect way to finish off a great evening. Anya does have a way of bringing out the best in me. And isn't anyone I'd rather spend my life with than her. Wow, I should write that last line down in a poem of something. I'm sure Anya would be turned on by it.
