(no subject)
i'm a little bummed to discover that by moving to marlborough, i'm now increasing my drive time to killington by over 45 minutes...the drive will now be 3.5 hours!!!!!!!! one way!!!!!! ugh. why did i waste $700 on a season pass this year? why?
it's no better from where travis is moving in west hartford either. that drive will be 3 hours and 11 mins. still more than the 2.5 hour drive from boston and 2 hour drive we used to have from enfield. ugh.
in better news...i got my computer yesterday and hooked it all up. it's GINORMOUS!!!!! who knew a 24-inch widescreen would be so big! and apple of course makes everything so glossy, shiny, and pretty. it's beautiful. i can't wait to load all of my design software and 14 million more fonts on there tonight so i can get started on all of this freelance work i have piling up.
also in better news, i had a lovely visit yesterday with cassie, rich, bailey and soon-to-arrive baby libardi. i wish i lived closer so i could visit more often!...that's what i kept thinking when it only took me an hour to get to enfield to pick up my computer. how nice would it be to live in hartford and only be like 30-40 mins away from cassie! seriously. but it was a good time. i can't wait for the annual halloween party this year!
