Adobe CS software...check. 24-inch iMac...check. having a brand new setup....priceless
i broke down and FINALLY bought my new computer this weekend...a beautiful, 24-inch iMac. it will arrive at the Enfield Best Buy store this Friday :) yayayayaya!!!!
i couldn't resist. we were at Best Buy because Trav was dropping $3k on a new 50-inch plasma tv, 80GB PS3, and all that other jazz that men love. so i started wandering around the store and looking around. stumbled upon the fact that Best Buy is an authorized Apple reseller and they have a finance plan of 2 years, interest free! Insane. How could i resist a deal like that?! And their warranty is WAY better than just Apple's. So i applied for the card, was approved for way more money than i need (thank god for having great credit even though i'm broke!) and i bought my computer.
the best part of it all...my coworker has the Adobe Creative Suite software, which she gave me, for free!!!! that's a $2k savings. at the very least i may need to buy the upgrade for $600 to CS3 (which is meant to run on an Intel server, which is what my computer will have), but still. That's way less then buying CS3 outright for $2k before tax.
