It's raining in Frankfurt.
The windows of my office are made out of glass that blocks out any sound. Only the loudest and most persistent rain will allow for a muffled, quiet thudding noise to be heard.
It is this kind of rain right now.
it's interesting to see a city like Frankfurt in rain. The skyscrapers and artificial parks, all covered in grey and water and mist. When I look out of my window, all I see is a thousand of other small windows, with people working, talking, staring. I like to imagine that the rain comes to wake them up. Everybody sitting at their desks will turn their heads, see the rain, hear the thud thud thud and feel, maybe, something stirring inside of them.
It's the first rain since a long time.
