Pampering Day
Today was lovely. I used my self-alloted splurge money from my CLI stipend to pamper my rock climbing bruised and battled body. First I got my hair done and my brows too! Then I got to get a pedicure complete with firey American red toes for the Fourth...the color was actually called Fishnet Hose...hmmm maybe a little too American....
Other highlights of the day....Pam took pictures of the cutest girls in the world today for Bradley's birthday gift. We had an hour of outdoor picture fun at Holmdene Garden. We had a blast and I got a sneak peek of the pics which are pretty sweet!
Also I gave into my spending urge I had...see for Seth's party we are tenting in the yard and I have no tent and just got back from a wonderful and yet terrifying High Adventure in Kentucky so I felt the need for a tent of my own...why? I have no idea...I just felt the urge...And I knew that I would be going on High Adventure again apparently so I would use it and I tried to be sensible...but today at Dick's Sporting Goods ( I was early for my hair appointment and was looking for a thank you gift for Laura M. the High Adventure Mama!) I saw this tent that sleeps three and was half off! Big sale and to top it off...IT IS PINK!!!!!! Now you see I happen to like pink and I have never seen a pink tent before...blue, purple, orange and even that bright green I like but not pink...I picked it up and put it down about three times and finally sucked it up and bought it.
So that is my day of pampering: Playing with my goddaughter and family, hair cut and such, pedicure and a pink tent.
Man I am strange.
