last night was the yankee - red sox game and it was completely amazing. amazing. yankee stadium is my favoritest place in the world to begin with.. and then add yankees-red sox rivalry? i was in heaven. pure bliss. :] and of course that the yankees won 4-2 made it that much sweeter. the red sox are up 2-0 with the bases loaded in the.. 8th? i wanna say? and tony clark hits this hard grounder and it goes right through david ortiz's legs. i almost died laughing. and we all chanted "bill buckner." it was great times. and there was this kid behind me and every single play no matter who was up he was like "YOU SUCK DAMON.. GET A HAIR CUT" and i turn around and he has this huge afro.. and his friends are like "mike look at you." it was so funny. and i went with my mom's boss and co-workers.. and then her boss's like son and stuff [he was 18 and quite adorable. haha] and we were sitting there and in the later innings everyone that came up he's like "oh yeah here comes a homerun" and the guy behind us is like "dude shut the hell up i'm tired of having to listen to you." it was great. wheew and then after the game we went to some bar. and they were actually checking ID's, how cool is that? but me and chris weren't allowed in [obviously] so we had to go to a different one. but there was actually a bouncer! i was amazed. so then my mom's boss bought her a shirt and it's like "boston.. 1918 - babe, bucky, buckner, boone.. any questions? sucks." and she gave it to me. :] so yay. haha then on the way home we like almost ran out of gas.. and then i was trying to give directions and i was like "yeah and you turn here.. but i don't know if it's left or right." and chris is like "good thing we know where we're going." and yeah.. it was funny at the time. and we stopped at some diner at 2 in the morning and this lady was looking at us all weird. but the bagels were really good. haha. and wow, yeah that was my awesome night. i got home like 3:30? yesssuh fun times.
so today, i find out that we won both games yesterday!! =D so i was quite happy. i <3 my renegades! and okay, who schedules a softball game for 10:00 in the morning on a friday ? yeah, kristen's coach, that's who! so blahh, we can't do anything tomorrow. and then saturday i'm going to LBI, but i still don't know if melissa can come.. and, yeah. haha. well i'm gonna go do whatever i'm supposed to be doing!
