Souji tugs Hijikata along the street, grinning like it's his birthday. He's got Hijikata to allow him to visit all the chocolate and sweet shops, so for him, it probably is very close to the birthday experience. He found convincing Hijikata that all the confectionary was a good idea a lot simpler once he let it slip that some sold real melted chocolate that he wouldn't mind eating off Hijikata.
