oh hey there
hello livejournal! it's been a while. i don't actually know when the last time i posted was, but important things have happened since i was gone! i learned how to sail, and sailed a tall ship from san diego to hawaii. goal: running away to sea. accomplished.
in other news, life is pretty good. i have a boyfriend, a roommate, an apartment off campus for next semester (THANK GOD), and newfound motivation! i am going to finish college. i refuse to give up because that would be DUMB. i'm so close to the end it would just be stupid to drop out now. so help me god i am not a quitter. stubbornness, ACTIVATE.
that said, i still kinda want to drop out. BUT I'M NOT GOING TO.
book review blog will be starting up again soon, over at tumblr. yey! new books are being read and assimilated into my internal library. which is extensive.
i'm taking a class in the romantic poets next semester, which means i will be jizzing over keats and shelley and coleridge etc. ALL SEMESTER so if you want to get any sense out of me you might want to read up on your romantics...
journalism major will be starting as well as the fight for an oceanography minor. with luck i can make all of my SEA classes count towards it, but i might need to do a couple of extras. that would be okay. it would be good to have some science visible on my resume.
anyway, that's me for now! ta ta chillun. i wonder if anyone i know still reads livejournal...
