Good Evening (say it like "Goo-deeven-ing"). Mini-bits of my current events:
They should make an Olympic event for the surge operator job (what I'm currently doing at the mill). Every shift I've worked this week and last Saturday's graveyard has been both paper machines on shippers (little rolls that go to buyers) and both runs have two-packs and identical roll sizes with different numbers. Talk about aerobic and mentally challenging. There is actual precision involved here, folks. And sweat. It's pretty gross. But I guess if you've never been there and never done the job, then you probably have thismuch understanding. Never work at a paper mill, okay? Okay.
I am graduating this school year. Taking a full courseload for autumn, then possibly migrating back to the Harbor for some online courses to finish off the deal while working at, that's right, THE PAPER MILL. Why am I going home? It's a long story. If you care to know, I'll tell you in person because I don't want to have to look at the words as I think about them to write it down and make it permanent.
Yvonneke has quit her job after less than a week, and is staying down in California with Eric and a 33-year-old gay friend she met a couple weeks ago. She ditched me on the phone...it sounded like she was smoking something. Wow.
My checkbook is balanced.
I'm kind of lonely. :( Maybe I should call someone.
I'm coming to Seattle on Thursday or Friday, or both if I can swing it!
Read these: "Fall On Your Knees", by Anne MacDonald, and "The Food Of Love", by Anthony Capella.
I love you all.
