I will not obsess about the fact that this is the second Valentine's day in a row I will spend without someone to love.

I will not berate myself for being fickle, flighty, and irrational in ways that tend to send men running for their lives in the opposite direction.

I will be okay with my singleness, and the knowledge that I have the love of a few amazing friends that I could not possibly begin to imagine my life without.

I will be okay, period.
