Kyla and I were actually having a rather normal time. Sitting at the Expresso Pump. Sipping our respective drinks, discussing college majors. It was like a scene from Dawson's Creek or Felicity. Oh! I love that Felicity! Okay, so a bit behind the current trend of JJ Abrams shows, but there was a bit of time in the 90's there were I was pretty bored

"What do ya'll run in packs or something? I- I need to go... I need to... move!"
She pushed her way from the group and I watched her rush by. There was something more than wrong with that girl. Willow had a look of concern on her face, however that could just be Willow. She always looked worried. Of course hanging around Buffy might do that to a person. It seemed that wherever Buffy went there was trouble. It had to do some serious damage to her skin.
Kyla seemed to be a nice girl, and bringing her into the group of these two wasn't that bad. Although I glanced at the clock display at the bank and sighed. All of this normalcy had taken an awful long amount of time out of the day. It was practically 5 in the evening. However it wasn't that dark yet, so most likely these humans didn't really notice. They were always complaining there wasn't enough time, but didn't really use the time they had wisely.
“Well, hello to you all too.”
This was good though. Just hanging out. Like the last time, although last time I had a boy not Willow. I had Parker. Oh. Crap. Parker. That cursed succubus was after him, and I had once again let my mind wander away from pressing matters. I should go look for him, but I couldn't really just leave Kyla alone with two new strangers. Could I? No, that would be rude of me. Perhaps Willow and Oz were on their way somewhere else? Maybe they would create the perfect distraction, and I could duck out of this coffee talk.
"So, Willow and Oz! What were you two off to do, before we interupted you?"

I took time to look briefly over at Oz and smile, remembering our afternoon together. There were very few things that were better than that - maybe none at all.
"We were actually just heading in to get some coffee, but..."
My voice trailed off as I remembered another talk with caffinated smiles, and it only cemented just how off this whole scene had been. Distressed, I continued to watch Fred storm down the street.
"Hey," I turned to Oz softly. "Mind if I take a rain check, even though it isn't raining?" When he nodded in understanding, I leaned forward to place a kiss on his cheek. "Thank's."
That settled I turned back to Anya and her friend. "It was great meeting you, and nice...seeing you again too Anya. But I have to run now, and check on a few things. Thank's for the chat!"
I whispered one last time in Oz's ear, letting him know I would be walking. I had a few stops to make, and a certain almost-friend to follow.

So we all stood there for a few moments, looking at each other sort of blank staring and trying to figure it out.
"Well I think this little meeting has met it's end. I know that I actually have to take off. I don't want to leave you alone with a stranger, so maybe we can catch up sometime next week? I will try not to space out during class, maybe we can hang out afterwards?"
Kyla nodded and said something about something she had to do as well, and Oz... well was Oz and said not much. We all parted ways and I was on my way to find Parker... hopefully still alive and very much attracted to me.
