Everything and everyone that I passed by the school grounds annoyed me. I didn’t really know why, but I really couldn’t stand the sight of them. The way that they looked at me, the way that they seemed to think that they were better than me... it just bothered me more than it had in the past. Things were going smoothly. Pleasantly. Yeah. That all came to a screeching halt.
I'd never seen this girl before, but Willow seemed to know her. Seemed to be a little surprsied by her behavior, too. I didn't bother with surprised, just skipped ahead to irritated. There was a difference between being rude and being mean, and Fred definitely seemed to be opting for the latter.

Any motor skills I might have been displaying before, however lacking Fred thought they might be, completely left me as my mouth hung open at her words.

"I don't get pushed around," I pointed out without thinking. "I haven't been pushed around since -- last week."
I was about to go on, but Oz stepped in front of me one arm out to sheild me from Fred. Fred?!? Something was a little...off, here.
