Of stars in atmosphere, and watch her disappear, into the Midnight show.

After stopping by the counselor's office to get some schedule things taken care of, I headed out to the parking lot. Fortunately Daddy had arranged for a car for me to drive while I was here on my own. He didn't want to inconvenience Mrs. Summers by having to drive me all around town or something. But I guess that makes sense, considering I have cheer practice, yearbook and the Prom committee. This was definitely going to be the best year ever! I mean it was like I never even left. Everyone is letting me just come back in and regain my place on top. As it should be of course.

I hopped into the very cute red convertible that was waiting for me and started it up. How stoked was Dawn going to be when I picked her up in this? She was definitely on her way up to earning the crown I had worked so hard for. And with my help? She definitely stood a chance. I pulled out of the parking lot and pulled around in front of the school. There were still a few minutes until classes let out, so I had a prime spot. Nice and centered on the curb. Almost like a movie moment, it was awesome.

I slid on my sunglasses and grabbed my cd holder. "Hmm, what to pick?" I flipped through the pages trying to decide what the best soundtrack would be. After a few seconds of agonizing, I decided on The Killers - Hot Fuss. I wanted something a little more rock and upbeat, so it worked. Then for tonight? Well, that would be a surprise. But, we were going to have blast for sure. My hands tapped the steering while as the sound of the bell rang out. I glanced down at the clock in the dashboard and let a sly smile fall over my face. It was time to have a little fun.
