First of all I have to give props to mommy and daddy for flying me out so that I wouldn't miss a week's worth of classes. Not that I exactly made it to class on time or anything, but still. I got there for fourth period, so that was good enough for me. Not like I really wanted to go to math anyway. Everyone was in total shock when I showed up for history and all swarmed adoringly around me. Even Mrs. Thompson was stoked to see me. It's good to feel loved, not that I can say that Britney Jacobson was too happy to see me since she was next in line to take my place...but oh well, she can try to get her revenge come prom time. Key word: try.

It was really rad for Mrs. Summers to offer to let me stay with her and Dawn, and I know my parents were all for it. Not like they wanted to get rid of me or anything, but I was being just a tiny bit bitchy. Okay, really bitchy, but what do they expect when they tear me away from all my friends my senior year?? Hello! I worked my ass off to make my way to the top. Not that I wouldn't have been able to at the other school, but hey, why make enemies when I can just go home? Huh, I hope Mrs. Summer's doesn't mind that I showed up today. But it's all cool if she's not ready, dad offered to set me up in a hotel until Saturday if need be.

I bailed outta history and after saying goodbye to some friends, I decided to stop by my locker and change out my books. It was a good thing I had a free 5th period or I would have been late. Not that I've ever gotten detention for being late before but still...I tossed my hair over my shoulder as I rounded the corner, and what did I spy? Why it was Miss Summers herself. How amazingly happy must she be to have me staying with her? I could only imagine what it would do to her rep around here. She was totally in now...and all she had to do was step up and take the crown. This was definitely going to be an awesome final year.

I stopped just in front of her and waited a sec for her to figure out what was going on. "Now don't hold back, how much did you really miss me?"

I was about to leave class when the teacher called me back just as I was at the door frame. I made a face and clenched my fists. I swear the teacher is trying to make my life a living hell only more so. I walked back and the teacher handed me a couple books...that looked like 6 along with a project I had handed in. I was told I had to redo the whole thing again because I have more potential...I will show that teacher potential...I smiled and said thank you. And walked out.

I got into the hallway and walked to my locker and opened it up and stuffed all the books into my bag and pulled it out and put it onto my back. I slammed my locker shut and kicked the one next to mine and Taylor's and I kicked it hard enough that I dented it.

I turned to walk away but I couldn't do to the fact that someone was in my way. I looked up and it was Taylor!. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. She was still standing there. But how...she wasn't suppose to be here till tonight.

I made with the squeeing and pounced her and hugged her like I hadn't seen her in years!.

"Your back!!. How cool is it that your back here....really you didn't miss much. But I know of well at least one person who is glad your back. Naturally I am but My mom will be thrilled. Cause well I have kinda been a bump on a log lately...come on admit it..so have you."

I got up and helped Taylor up to. Then hugged her again.

"So..okay I know you weren't gone that long..but how was it? And uh if we could make our way off now that would be great. That's all I need is to get blamed for the new dented locker."

As soon as I was steady again, I dusted myself off and glanced around to make sure no one saw that. Not that the hug was embarrassing or anything, but it was..the enthusiasm behind it. Yeah, a little too much for my tastes, thanks. "Yeah," I admitted. "I was majorly bummed, but I'm all better now because I get to finish out my Senior year with all my friends." I gave her a quick smile and noticed that the halls were starting to clear.

"You're right, we should probably get out of here before any pesky teachers come snooping about. I've got to stop by the counselor's office anyway." I adjusted the bag on my shoulder and started to move down the hall, being sure that Dawn was following. "It is definitely good to be back," I smiled as I watched a cute boy turn to check us out. Oh yeah, I still had it. Not that I was ever concerned or anything.

"So, meet me in front of the school as soon as you get outta class. I know just the way to celebrate." I flashed my award winning grin as I looked at her. "See ya then!"
