A few thing's I've learnt over the last few days.
1. My £6 leather handbag is capable of holding an inch of water with no lasting damage. My phone on the other hand was not so fortunate. The bottle of water I take to work up-ended itself in my bag and I only noticed whilst retrieving my wallet. Ben tipped a small puddle's worth of wet out of my handbag and I spent a fraction of the journey to London assessing the damage. I now know exactly how much water a Max Factor lipstick tube can hold.
2. Children will ask the most adorable, socially awkward questions, as is their duty. Ben's nephew Theo turned around and said "Will you marry Bex?". A short while later, during the middle of Theo giving us a tour of the house, he said "This is the crib, where you put the baby" followed by a pointed look.
3. Ben's sister and her husband own the coolest camper van and I would love to borrow it.
4. Me and Ben are hard enough to sleep out under the stars. I must admit, I was concerned about badgers. Neither of us knew what the protocol was for a badger attack, I mean...are you even allowed to attack them?
5. The high speed train from Ashford to St. Pancras is kinda awesome.
