End of Year Drabble Requests

Sep 29, 2010 13:52

So, as of October 1, 2010, there will be 90 days left until the end of the year. So, I am offering up a Twenty-five Drabbles in Ninety Days theme. Here's how it works.

I'm going to offer up 25 different sentences - could be lines from unfinished stories I've been working on or lines from songs I've come to love - and then you, the requester, will pick a sentence and a pairing. Between now and the end of the year, your drabble (most of mine are about 500 words and under) will be posted here on my journal. Here are the rules:
  • Pairings/Characters must come from the following Universes: G1, Bayverse, and 1986 movie verse
  • All requests can be either faction, though I must warn that the only Decepticos I write well are Megatron, Starscream, Thundercracker and occasionally Soundwave.
  • I will take requests for human/mech pairings. I will also write humanized versions of 'bots and 'cons if requested
  • I will write any rating requested
  • I will NOT, however, write anything that requires a pairing with an under age human.
  • Requests begin today and will be taken until October 10th.
Behind the cut you will find the sentences being offered. When you find one you want, please leave a comment in the following manner:

Three things you don't want to see in your drabble

So... here we go. Let's have some fun, shall we?

1.

And still that saying gets inside my mind: that your enemies grow strong on what you leave behind.

2.       I used to be love drunk, but now I’m hung over.

3.       You’ve kept my love so young and so new, I’m so lucky to be loving you.

4.       I’d work for you, I’d slave for you, I’d be a beggar or a knave for you; if that isn’t love, it’ll have to do until the real thing comes along.

5.       I want to know, have you ever seen the rain coming down on a sunny day?

6.       I can’t stand to fly; I’m not that naïve…

7.       …Son when you grow up would you be the savior of the broken, the beaten and the damned?

8.       I’m not surprised not everything lasts, I’ve broken my heart too many times to keep track.

9.       We’ll do it all, everything, on our own…

10.   Russian roulette is not the same without a gun and baby when it’s love if it’s not rough it isn’t fun.

11.   We were both young when I first saw you; I close my eyes and the flashback starts…

12.   I’m in the room it’s a typical Tuesday night, listening to the kind of music she doesn’t like and she’ll never know your story like I do.

13.   Remember when I was young and so were you and time stood still and love was all we knew…

14.   Oh you can dance every dance with the guy that gives you the eye and let ‘em hold you tight; you can smile every smile for the man who held your hand beneath the pale moonlight; but don’t forget who’s takin’ you home and in whose arms you’re gonna be; save the last dance for me.

15.   A broken promise, I was not honest, now I watch as tables turn…

16.   I’ve been hardly been outside my room in days ‘cause I don’t feel I deserve the sunshine’s rays…

17.   Some say he was a good man… lord I think he sinned…

18.   Here by my side, an angel; here by my side, the devil; never turn your back on me, never turn your back on me again; here by my side it’s heaven…

19.   Come up to meet you tell you I’m sorry you don’t know how lovely you are; I had to find you, tell you I need you, tell you I set you apart; tell me your secrets and ask me your questions and lets go back to the start.

20.   I never thought I’d change my opinion again but you move me in a way that I’ve never known, you confuse me in a way that I’ve never known.

21.   Every twenty seconds you repeat her name but when it comes to me you don’t care if I’m alive or dead.

22.   There were sounds in my head and little voices whispering that I should go and this should end oh and I found myself torn.

23.   Cause I don’t know who I am, who I am without you, all I know is that I should; and I don’t know if I can stand another hand upon you, all I know is that I should; and he would love you more than I could, he who dares to stand where I stood.

24.   I thought love was black and white, that it was wrong when it was right, but you ain’t leavin’ without a fight and I think I am just as torn inside.

25.   I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up four wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seats; I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights, slashed a whole in all four times, maybe next time he’ll think before he cheats.
