There were 2 girls sitting behind me, complaining about September 11.
the following conversation ensued:
Supreme callous bitch 1: "Ugh, it's September 11. Dude, don't you just wish people would stop talking about it? I mean, it happened 6 years ago. Get over it already. Tonight's news is just gonna be full of people crying about what happened."
Supreme callous bitch 2: "Seriously."
1: "I mean, I know some people who were born today, and they can't even celebrate their birthday 'cuz everyone's just talking about what happened on 911."
2: "I know, it's like, who cares?"
And here I was, already irritated to be sitting in an hour and a half of anthropology, and all i wanted to do was get up and whack them in the head a couple of times.
