Good News!

Felt like I should be posting good stuff as well!

Sooooo. Susan's back in business! :D

The good things: Got up quite early for two days in a row now.
Which is good considering my body clock's been out of sync for years.
Let's hope I can keep up with the normal go-to-bed-get-out-of-bed rhythm.
Another good thing: I had an appointment at the federal employment office and the man there was a real help.
He gave me loads of adresses and apprenticeship training position thingies to choose from.
Now I've got infos and adresses from loads of great German tv stations like Prosieben, RTL, MDR, BRF etc etc!
Oh and I love that ad the "Bayerische Rundfunk" (bavarian broadcasting service) did. They're looking for people
who play some sort of instrument (drums! That's me) were or are a member of a video consortium (me! plus the papers!)
and who know how editing software works (that's me! Sony Vegas Pro 9! Vidding!). Another bonus is language.
Good marks in German and English (That's me! Double A!) I SO want them to take me.

Since I've got no real idea how to apply here in Germany (I mean properly with all sorts of standards) I also got an
appointment for next week where the so called "jobclub" does sessions where they teach you how to apply properly,
where they help you with applications and all sorts of stuff. Greeeeaaaat! Seriously though. German red tape. All
that running, phoning, appointments, documents documents documents..it's driving me insane. German red tape
is just utterly stupid and generally oversized. Seriously.

So. That's the good news. I phoned loads of companies today. Still some stuff to do. Like getting a job for this year
and next year, getting a driving licence (SO utterly expensive!) getting a company to take me for some work experience
(so hard those picky bastards!) and so on and so on. But I'm finally doing something. That's good. I'm feeling better.

Another good thingy: I got my drumkit back yesterday. It's been getting dusty for a year now. I feel like drumming again.
I WANT to drum again. My hands are like "let us touch the drum sticks again Susan...pleaaaaase" all the time.
I need wood in my hands. Hahaa..
