I have been glued to the tv watching nothing but what's happening in Christchurch (not that I really have a choice LOL it's on every channel). It is seriously terrible.
I can't believe they got hit AGAIN, just as they were recovering! It's unbelievable. So far 75 confirmed dead and like, 300 missing still. That is so uncool. It's just a mess.
I can't help but just...wonder what it would have been like to have been there. I've never experienced an earthquake, the idea that the ground could move is just, way beyond my imagination. It is kind of a sick fascination, even though I know it would be scary as all fuck. crazy.
My prayers are with everyone affected, and to those brave, brave people who are working endlessly to save lives. It's not easy, but they do such a great job <3
Dear Mother Nature,
I know that every couple of decades, you like to make us suffer, but this is seriously messed up. it seems like there isn't a time or moment in the world where something awful is not happening. Hold your horses for a little while, ok? And leave Australia and NZ alone, we need to recover.

Oh, I also just arrived back from QLD. I had such a good, relaxing week. now back to Sydney and my garden is dead. Sigh.
