My aunt and uncle started dating at age 15. At age 18 they got married. Everyone thought they were crazy. That they were too young. My uncle didn't have much money. I doubt if he even spent $500 on my aunt's engagement ring. It's teeny tiny. They had their first child at age 20. 36 years later, most of their friends that told them they were too young are divorced; they have 9 children, 6 grandkids, and two more on the way. My uncle works crazy hours and they still have four kids in the house, 22 for Sunday night dinner, but throughout their marriage they have still make time to go out on a date once a week, and my aunt is still known to leave him love letters in his lunch from time to time, for no reason except to tell him that she appreciates all that he does.
