rah rah.
I would kill for a bacon egg taco right about now, but the place downstairs stopped serving breakfast already. SO HUNGRY. *gnaws on fist*
My quest for the perfect dress for Christopher's wedding continues. I found the prettiest little dress the other day - flowy, summery with lots of raggedy silk layers. Really nice silk too. Except, the only sizes they had left were upwards of size 6. If the average American woman is size 10 or so, why is size 0 always fucking sold out? *shakes fist*
And I'm going to Austin in like... 4 days. YIKES.
I found out I have to pay my gym $5 (on top of the monthly fee) every time I want to use the climbing wall. And it's not even a nice climbing wall... tiny, with no auto belay. I'm enraged. fuck you Crunch. you smell like butt too. SWEATY MAN BUTT.
Speaking of climbing... we've been going to Central Park armed with our climbing shoes and chalk bags, just to practice. And it's good fun, except... THE TOURISTS. somehow the sight of OMG NEW YORK LOCALS trying to climb mesmerizes them completely. Like, they stand and stare in sheer amazement, as I'm trying to find a decent foot hold. AND they take pictures and comment. Loudly. Obnoxiously. Last time I ended up yelling "it's $5 bucks if you want to watch, fuck face" and "I don't recall signing a fucking model release, asshole". How's this for a taste of the Big Apple, you creeps. didn't your mother teach you that it's rude to stare?
I did a glycolic acid peel and now I look like a leper. Ok, not quite, but I'm peeling horrendously. I can see the improvement though, so yay!
I've made a commitment to using sunblock every day, SPF 55. I've been a flake about it, but summer is coming, so yeah. I need to get like.. SPF 96865 for Austin though, especially since I intend on swimming. A LOT. and topless, because it's totally acceptable there... and so much more fun. God knows my snow-white breasteses haven't seen the sun in like... ever. Last time I had a boob sunburn was, coincidentally, also in Austin, and it was painful beyond belief.
Ok... back to work. :z
