It's that time again... update time! :D
I got a new job and so far it kicks ass. I'm a graphic designer for a somewhat big wine importer. um. it's sweet, and everyone seems nice so far. i get to work on magical brands and learn about wine. Not to mention get free stuff now and then! ;p ;p
Last night was our company Christmas outing, which primarily consisted of getting plastered at the Royalton (a bit too uptown for me, but hey), going to see the Grinch on Broadway (uhhh) and then going back to the Royalton and getting even more plastered. oh dear. I'm glad I stopped myself from having yet another vodka&tonic, because that might've prompted me to show my coworkers a new side of me they shouldn't yet know about (the table dancing, drunkypants me, that is).
I went to Mississippi for Thanksgiving to see Charlie's family. It was more fun than I'd expected. I shot a gun, drank lots of margaritas, sort of figured out how to play golf (not really), wandered around the tree farm (didn't get mauled by gators, thanks, god!), heard coyotes for the first time EVAR, and played a lot of cards. All in all, good times, and it was so nice to get the hell out of NYC for a couple of days. I'll post pix sometime or later...
It turns out that Charlie's folks are throwing us a magical wedding party in December. So far the order of events appears to be: brunch for the ladies (MIMOSASSS), golf... tournament... thingy for the dudez in the morning (yeah, i know)... then delicious catered party at their house. and um, GIFTS. Needless to say, I'm excited. Thennn it'll be Christmas. Thennn we're driving to Colorado with Charlie's friend and his girlfriend, and going snowboarding. woot. I'm just not too excited for all the Christmas shopping I have to do...
I'm running out of stuff to say and my head hurts from last night's drunken exploits... so bye. ;z
