Adults Always Tell Me To "Enjoy My Youth". I Used To Think I Had All My Teenage Years To Do So. The Only Thing That Did Not Cross My Mind Was That U Can Grow Up And Don’t Know That U Did. Well… Surprise! The Most Bizarre Thing Happened… I Grew Up.
This Happened So Quickly And Curiously With No WARNING SIGN.
This Growing Up Thing For Me Has Been Awkward.
In A Way I Feel I’m Growing Up In Front Of Ppl That
- Think That Because I "Look" A Certain Age I Should Act A Certain Age.
- That I Should Be Better Than Average
- That Think My Boyfriend Should Be A Different Way [ Or Even Be A Different Person]
- That I Should Enjoy My Life… But Be Home B-4 10
- That I Should Have More Friends
- That I Should Get The Honor Roll
- That Tell Me That I Don’t Make The Rules … I Just Follow Them.
Maybe I Don’t Want To Grow Up… Maybe I Still Want Ppl To Think For Me. Maybe I Dont Want To Be Responsible For My Life… Not Just Yet.
Some Ppl Grow Up Faster Than Others.
