Busy Busy
Exciting last few days, Minji and Hime went to see the torch run in Kitchener and stayed the night at my house to see it the next day in Guelph. I ended up missing it while it was in Kitchener, but got to see it fairly closely in Guelph. As a bonus, I didn't have any protester run-ins (others, not so lucky). I've heard and read about some of the on-goings about the protests (their views and where/when they have done/will do things) but in the end, I STILL find everything they've done so far EXTREMELY F***ING STUPID. Honestly, no matter what they do, they aren't going to stop the games. I mean, even if they manage to put out the flame, they have several other flames that were split from the mother flame to continue on. Also read about how some of them attacked the torchbearers which, IMHO, is even stupider for them to do (I mean seriously, they are injuring people here and expect to not get into trouble for it? Oh please...). Though I admit that the whole meaning behind the Olympics have long since been tarnished, what they're doing now is simply minuscule in the grand scheme of things (and will not get them anywhere except maybe fines and possibly prison time). By next year, no one will even remember all their 'efforts' which, though sad, is true.
Getting away from the topic of Olympics, I really wish I had my own vehicle again (hopefully in another week I will have it back finally =_=). I felt really bad about having to have Minji and Hime sit around not doing anything for hours since we couldn't leave the restaurant due to my mom. Jen also on Sunday but only stayed for a day (Hime also left on Sunday but she forgot her cotten candy which Minji and I munched on). It was nice to see everyone but many silly things happened during the time they were here. The whole not having a car as well as my internet being stupid were just a few things that I feel really bad about. Still, I hope they had even a little bit of fun while they were here.
I updated the last post with what I ordered and added Lunar (cause I love Lunar ^_^). Otherwise in games, I bought Minji Atelier Iris 3 and Mana-Khemia as well as gave her one of my copies of Suikoden V (which I hope she'll be able to get to work D: My machine is finicky and won't play things sometimes...). Minji also bought herself headphones and a French-Canadian dictionary (which I was sad to find, didn't have Tabarnak in it) and Hime bought Howl's Moving Castle (one of my favourite books xD). For myself, I found a used copy of Grim Grimore, Dragon Age for PC (the sale rep said that she believe the PC version was the best because of the ridiculous situations which happen in it that don't seem to be in the console versions i.e. killing a bunch of stuff, talking to one of the people you are with and they pulling out and giving you a rose while you both are amongst corpses xD Isn't that romantic?), and FFTactics for PSP (cause I still hadn't gotten it...;;). I also started played Grand Fantasia which is rather amusing.
Lastly, I made a twitter account (yes, I made a twitter but not a facebook xD;;). It's under SunneLein so if you want to bug me there, go ahead. Now I'm off to work on menus while singing (cause I really feel like singing for some reason haha). =_= I really don't want to do the menus...
