D: MY WINDOW WELL COVER!!!!

Dec 09, 2009 12:08

So sometime this morning the extreme wind managed to push the rocks off of the board holding my window well cover in place and blow it (not far) away. It's back in place now but I'm worried about how well it'll do if it gets really windy like in the past.

On Monday I pulled a muscle in my back around my right shoulder blade making my right half of my upper body and arm in extreme pain. I couldn't even move my neck, it was so painful I pretty much stayed in bed for the next two days. It's not so bad now, just very sore and stiff (likely from lack of movement). The area seems kind of swollen still but I may just be delusional. On a sidenote, the week before that I got the flu shots (seasonal and H1N1) and one of the spots I got injected in is still swollen and sore. I really have no luck with these things...

Internet is still finicky, but it seems to mostly be centered around Sierra's computer. I get the feeling it's simply just because her computer is old and the parts are finally taking their toll. Mom mentioned something about just building her a new com (since we have most of the parts anyways) but the parts we're missing are, of course, the most expensive ones (i.e. processor). Don't know if she's actually going to pull through on the idea, especially with all the spending she's been doing with the restaurant renovations. Honestly, I still have the mixed feelings on reopening and I'm beginning to feel that they won't ever go away.

Still have no idea what to get Cecilia for Christmas since she's the type that can't wait on anything. Actually, the only thing I do know that she wants but isn't getting is a PS3(apparently for the blu-ray dvd player >> why not just get a blu-ray player by itself...?) which I, for one, am not going to fork over $300+ for (nor am I giving her the one I bought for myself :x). If someone else bought her one, I would chip in about $50 but no more then that since I don't really make a lot of money. That's the amount I spent on Sonia and roughly on Sierra, to spend more wouldn't be fair.

My dreamcast came in and though I had some problems at first (burning the cds weren't working =_=) everything works perfectly now. I'm currently addicted to REZ but I've only gotten to the 4th area. I want to get to the 5th one because that one is just awesome. Can't wait for my keyboard to come in so I can play Typing of the Dead. xD Other things that came in are my petit vocaloid nendoroids and my Saber Lily nendoroid. They are so pretty, I'm afraid to take them out of their plastic (lol, I'm a dork, I'll open them soon). I'll post some pictures of them soon. I'm tempted to take some pictures of the snow since today is the first real snowfall we've had for this winter (it's so pretty...but annoying D:). I really want to take a picture of the small sad trees in our yard. That reminds me of another thing I've got to add to my eventual get list, a camera. I've always wanted a Nikon SLR but they are expensive, Dad and I used to talk about them all the time and how we'd get one someday. In the end, my sister ended up getting one before either of us could... ;; Still, it's not like I can use hers (pretty sure she'd probably not even allow me to touch it, I know I wouldn't allow anyone to).
