(no subject)
I loled when I read an article earlier detailing the XBox 360's failure of existance. It detailed how, for awhile, it was the second to the Wii, came out above the Wii for a short time when Star Ocean 4 came out, and then later was found to have sold less consoles last year compared to the PS2 for last year. On the other hand, PS3 is beginning to pick up more and more, and it's not only due to the finally somewhat finalized release of FFXIII. Many exclusives that were originally for the XBox 360 are being ported and revamped with extras and upgrades (Tales of Vesperia and the one game aside from Halo that boosted it's sales, the wonderful Star Ocean 4). It's kind of sad that if the PS3 versions of those games get localized, I'll buy them even though I already own SO4 for the XBox 360.
On to the topic of life, tomorrow I'll spend my day painting trims. Dave will be beginning the floor and apparently the windows will be in sometime this week as well. All that's left is some work in the bathroom but we already bought all of the fixtures (well, all of the big ones at least) so now that the tiles are down, there isn't much left aside from installing them.
I've got about half a page of Migawari translated but will be putting the rest on hold until after all this stuff about trims/flooring/windows/moving. Considering it took me 3 hours to do half a page (because I suck at kanji and trying to make the sentences make sense can be sometimes difficult) I'd still say that this project will take a drastically long time. I'm hoping to post the translation chapter by chapter...if I ever get past the first page (lol).
My Luka headset is ordered, I bugged Minjii on her opinion on two headsets I found though in the end there really wasn't much of a difference between the two. Now the only things I'm missing are takoluka...and a tuna. xD If I could find a takoluka and tuna plush, everything would be perfect. Those can wait until AN though. Can't wait for my costume to get in~ I'm still trying to think of another costume to do for AN but I still have over half a year to decide...though I'd like to have what I'll be doing finalized by Jan. at the lastest since I'll need time to make it. I've decided if I ever become rich, I'm totally making the Lily Saber costume because it's so amazing. I made a mistake last post saying it was from Fate Stay/Night when it's actually Fate/Unlimted Codes (a PS2 and PSP game related to the Fate series). Oh well, my bad.
