OH HAPPY DAY!
it did not begin the way i wanted it to...
i was late for my PE class, where i found out that i was unphysically fit.
i screwed up my math quiz.
i didn't get the scores i was hoping for in arch3.
1 during math, my prof gave me back last meeting's quiz, i got 7/10. one of his comments were, "not bad, but i expect better from you." it's a good thing, but a bit depressing.
2 i was able to bump into
operatingroom in Starbucks along katipunan (she looked ver pretty. :D ). my blockmates are collecting stickers for the planner, and it was a nice chat about rollercoasters and other nostalgic things. we laughed a lot. it was nice. ^_^ prior to starbucks, we ate in the old spaghetti house and the dessert was soooo good. it was a big warm chocolate cookie topped with vanilla ice cream. so goooooood. they ought to lower their table though. it does not complement human anthropometrics. (aba, architect language! HEEHEE. *crazy smiling*)
3 during arch3, i had so much fun making my christmas card and it looks quite pretty. ^_^ i painted a scene of the nativity----bethlehem with the shining star brilliantly lighting the night sky, using watercolor.
4 my mom picked me up in good time (someone stole her cellphone the other day. :c it's hard to communicate. duh. ) and we went to church because she had a meeting.
while she was there, i was able to look around and shop for some christmas gifts!
5 the salespeople were so accomodating.
CLIPS: when i bought clips for 2 friends, the saleslady even modelled them for me by pinning them on her hair upon my request. (heehee.) even though i took suuuuch a long time deciding, they were nice and giftwrapped my presents.
SEGAFREDO: i had a very scrumptious ham and cheese sandwich from Segafredo, and it even came with free iced tea (which was good tasting and frothy. and unexpected. :D) my bill? P85.00 inclusive of taxes and service charge.
LANDES: still had some time so i went upstairs in hopes of finding stickers. a salesman assisted me when i was checking out the iq/logic/mind games and he was able to point me to cool puzzle games. in some ways, i think he was trying to impress me (HAHAHA) because when he'd get boxes of toys, before he'd hand them over, he would sort of toss them in the air and catch them. HAHAHAHA. then when i went to look at the stickers, he offered me a stool. how nice. ^____^ but anyway, i got 3 of the cool puzzle games. and a mini pre-christmas present for my sister.
6 on the way home, mom and i stopped by some fruits. the fruit stall we went to had lots of christmas lights on and it was cheerful to see. ^_^ we bought bananas, a honeydew (mom and i debated whether to get an ordinary melon or a honeydew.) , and camote (yam?). the vendors even gave us 2 free chicos, and they even let us taste some melon! it was chilled, sweet and crunchy. they sliced some more and gave us yummy melon chunks to take home. they were smiling, and exchanged christmas greetings with us before we left.
WHAT AN AWESOME DAY. ^_____^
and tomorrow, my friend will tutor me for math 2 and help me with homework for free lunch.
all is swell. :D HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
