i "talked" to my crush! i dub him as "MSboy" (he's a classmate in Marine Science).

up close he looks so much better. i love his height and his build. (broad shoulders, strong. heehee!!!) his voice is very pleasant. and he strikes me as a person who's worth talking to because he carries himself smartly. (recites and asks sensible questions in class.) (plus, he doesn't seem to be the boring type.)
ALSO, i was able to see a "paralytic shellfish poisoning" phytoplankton today! in a microscope! they were ALIVE. you see, algal blooms (aka: red tide) is caused by phytoplankton that grows too much due to favorable conditions. not all are lethal. but they can change ecosystems or cause drastic events. the phytoplankton i got to see has been the cause of 87% of poisonings from algal blooms. they're round, spiky little fellows that spin around. really cute!
