(no subject)
So today was fun. I woke up at 5:30 for no reason, oh wait, because my body was saying "hey look at that... an earthquake." Albeit I only felt a little rumble nothing big down here. I think it's crazy that you could feel it. I promptly went back to sleep when I realized what time it was. Woke up an hour later and got ready for work.
As soon as I got to work I realized I left my keycard at home. Yay. So I try to get a temp but the girl just got in so I decided to take my chance and go upstairs and hope someone was walking in at the same time. Of course not, I waited like a minute but still, just my luck. Then when it was time to for my daily walking to Starbucks I realize I left my wallet at home because I ordered something online! Oi! Good thing Carrie sprung for me and got me a double shot espresso cuz I really needed it. Then I realized "shit, I have no money for the bus." (I take the bus home on Fridays.) Yay! Carrie was awesome and gave me two bucks for that, no really yay.
So this all happened... while my computer was deciding to be a complete douche and hate me. I had to reboot a few times before it started cooperating with me. Then I got to work on the boring "list scrub" thing that my boss wanted me to do. It killed time, but man, it made me sleepy. Then I decided, "hey let me post about my shitty day on lj." I was typing it all out on my phone for like five minutes. I hit post and what does it do? Oh "error couldn't post" or whatever. Ugh. I go back and it's all gone!! I try again with a shorter one just say how shitty today was and my phone decides to refresh the page and not let me hit post. Lost again! Grr. Yeah, that was fun.
At least I was able to watch Supernatural on my lunch so Jensen made me happy. Then my afternoon dragged. As my manager was leaving she was like "Go home!" haha, too bad I had half an hour left before I could. Lame.
Of course the bus was late like 10 minutes, too, so I had to stand there in the lovely wind. Yeah, whatever. I'm home now and can't decide if I want to nap or watch a movie. I think I'll do the latter since I have my Netflix dvds to watch so I can mail some of them out tomorrow........ man it will suck if they decide to stop doing Saturday or Tuesday deliveries (USPS).
