That's the main pic Im using to illustrate the 'moment of clarity' when we realise, basically, that the world is going to shit. Its the inconvenient truth.. as shown by Gore, for example. This is going to be worked on for the project.. It'll be different lookin' (I've printed it out 2 times and Im going to layer it on top.. its hard to explain)
then basically there's the pics of trash and life that's going down the drain because we keep consuming too much. but it seems impossible to stop. The project is supposed to be a response to the 'nouveau realisme' movement that happened in europe a little after pop art in the states. Its like. The french equivalent to pop art.
I didnt even put that stuff in our garbage for the sake of the picture.. that's actually what I found when I went to take the pictures after dinner for two consecutive nights.
In case you're wondering, in the first pic there's Snailshells (yes we eat them.. why must they be so tasty), litchi skins, foil and um.. how do you call the things that look like bananas but arent? In spanish they're called platano.. and my mom makes them the tasty colombian way..
In the second pic there's flowers.. Pineapple remains and papaya skin. (..I'm realizing we eat interesting things. :P)
Unfortunately my printer doesnt print the pics as bright as I'd like. Which pisses me off. Mais bon.. you cant have it all
I top it off with the infamous gasmask pics I'm all swoony over..
Im in fucking love with my hungarian cold war mask.. <3333 there's 4 pics in that series.. where I put it on.
