Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I was in Melbourne
So hi, how are we all? I have sore feet. From doing lots of stuff today. It was all good and fun. Saturday I am going to the races. Yee-ha!
But meanwhile, what is it with me and trams. Last time I was here, I lost my wallet on a tram and yesterday, not four hours after landing, I got busted for not having a ticket. I honestly thought they were free in the CBD, but no. Anyways, I pleaded ignorance - which was the truth - and they let me go. So this morning on my way back to the hotel from breakfast, I am running late for my tour of Melbourne's sporting venues - no, seriously - so I decided to jump on a tram. Too many people to find the ticket machine so I think fuck it, it's only a few stops. At the very next stop, two dudes in plain clothes flip out their badges and start asking people for their tickets. Me, I just calmly and casually walked away, never to be seen on a tram for the rest of my life.
Back to the hotel now, where hopefully I can sleep tonight. Goddamn hot weather.....
