breakfast

This morning I had a breakfast at my coworker Alisa's house. One town over. It was just so very pleasant. I met her mom. We had bagels and some fruit. I brought chocolate chip scones. Her mom (who sat with us for a little while, then moved on to a different room) asked for the recipe. Her dog Missy, a pit bull mix, who is a soft brown with a very soft coat, was very nice. We had long chat about ours kids. We had some laughs. At the end (of about two hours), I started heading for the door. I was going to walk, because it was such a gorgeous day, but she offered me a ride, as she was on her way out anyway. It was all very non-awkward and pleasant. :D

Tonight/this afternoon I'm going to rake some more, bake more scones (for Brian's birthday - I think I'm just going to leave them on his deck or something), clean my room, and finish writing some letters/postcards. Should be fun!
