well as u can probably tell we are back online. Hurricane went through Wednesday night - Thursday mornin. The eye touched down on the fort morgan penninsula (where me n heidi rode the car-ferry across in may) around 2am and traveled north by northwest inland. We were lucky that we caught the west side of the hurricane because it was the weakest part of it. Pensacola caught the worst part of Ivan being on the east side of it. Also Gulfshores and Orangebeach Alabama are destroyed. Heidi came down and stayed at gulfstate park in May, and i had rented a cabin for the 1st weekend in october coming up to spend time w/ the fam away from here. Well they still arent allowing anyone into gulfshores/orange beach because of the road washing out and all of the devestation. We faired pretty good, couple fallin trees, neighbor's fence in our yard and our back canopy on our house decided it didnt like where it was anymore and ended up in the middle of the yard. Me n matt went back to work Friday (which was a hell hole, so damn busy trying to get stuff back out into the cases and i worked almost 12 hours) and dad and chris went back Saturday. Slowly everything is getting back to normal. We lost our power Wednesday night about 10:45pm and got it back Thursday night about 7:00pm. Even w/ the power back, our computer is gay and the power supply on it sucks and we couldnt get it back on till about saturday night. Then the power went out again yesterday and we didnt get it back till this mornin. Oh well. W/ the occasional swerving to miss fallen trees and power lines... its all good here. love you baby.
