First Live Journal Post!
Hey!
So, today was my first outing with other Lolita type people. I don't really consider myself Lolita, because I wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday. But I do enjoy dressing up occasionally. I really met some nice people today. After the picnic Katherine, Mitch, Kristin, and two of our lovely friends, I don't want to spell her name wrong, and I can't remember her husband's name, all went to the Galleria, then around Houston. But Then our new friends said bye to us and my gang and I went off to Fud Ruckers..or something like that.
It really made me think of this one choir trip I had with my friends Michele, Megan, and Morgan. This was back in my second year of eighth grade. After our UIL competition, we went out to eat. Well, there were these boys behind us who put salt in a guy's drink. I thought it was so hilarious that the guy drinking the soda didn't notice. I mean, I really thought it was funny. All the while I sipped my drink calling the guy a dumb ass and asking how he could NOT notice the salt in his drink. Well, my lovely trio of friends were laughing seriously hard. At first I thought it was just cause you know, he was a stupid little boy. But..I had stopped talking about it, and they still continued to laugh. So I asked what was up. I started to turn really red, because obviously they were laughing at me. Turns out they put salt in my drink, all while I was laughing and calling that kid stupid for not realizing it.
Some lovely friends I have. Its funny now, but then I was really embarrassed. Because obviously the straw brings pop from the bottom of the glass and the salt is at the top, or disolved, or just not enough to taste the difference. Oh well.
That was a fun story for today. I'm bored.
So I'm going to study for my german test!
