Busy but not
I move into my apartment tomorrow!!! Ahhh I'm so excited! I've been talking to Kimmy D (we really hope we don't have to call the heating guy before we move in... 'cause yeah we haven't yet...) We both have a crapload of stuff- which is fabulous- for our new abode. It's gonna be tight. Tight as in hip, not small, 'cause our place is huge. I went shopping with Madre yesterday. A long stop to Walmart to buy all the essential cooking and storage needs (I can't wait to cook!)(and use my new cook book!) then we went to the furniture store and bought my desk. It was a good deal and has a huge workspace (something I totally lacked last year). ::excited!!:: So... we have to meet the lessors tomorrow, they're taking us to our apt, then Eric's helping me move in my kitchen table, chairs, sofa, and move in and put together my desk (what a nice guy), then putting stuff away in the kitchen. THEN my padres want to come again on the weekend (Sat.?) so A) They can see the place and B) So Padre can put together my new bed! Which, don't get me wrong I am excited for my parents to come up, but it's the weekend before Eric goes back to school and I wanted to spend it in Chicago. Especially because I'm babysitting from the 12-16 next week and so there goes that weekend. At least I'll be making fat cash, I guess. He said he'd come up to my apt for the weekend after, for MY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND! I have no idea what he's going to get me for my birthday since I got a gorgeous pink sapphire and diamond ring for Christmas. It's at the jewelers right now for sizing, but I can't wait 'til I get it back. It's so sparkly and pretty and just, oh I love it! Anyway... I should shower and actually do something with my day.
